Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

I’ve seen an article about US positions on this war “it’s not our business”

Said in others words “we have given green light to India !”

Thank God.
This was long time coming, the only sad part is that our Wardi was asleep on the job. They'll get their act together soon enough, they usually do.

Does anyone seriously believe that India worries us, then they haven't really known a Pakistani.
I know Indians, actually more then I do Pakistanis in recent times, Pakistan lives inside their heads rent free, I'm surprised we haven't paid off our debt by collecting the rent.

Pray for the heroic Pakistani armed forces regardless of political views.

Looks like the Pakistan military is currently engaged in counterpunch operations against India. Inshallah they prevail over their enemies and humiliate the enemy.

Prayers for our men and women. Allah bless you in your response.

Who do you guys think has suffered the most in this recent indiaPak conflict.

My opinion. Its Dassault.
Egypt has to be rethinking its Rafale plans right now for sure. Maybe the focus should be to pause further Rafales and increase the j10c purchases. I will confess to never understanding egypts procurement decisions regardless of how Sami_1 tries to spin it, so let see what they do, Iran must be kicking themselves for not getting in the j10 wagon either …
Agree but I will add more into it
The failure of Indian fighter jets against Pakistan’s jets—whether due to poor training, emotional decisions, or Pakistan’s clever tactics—was a serious blow to Western technology. Because on the battlefield, India was essentially representing Western military systems.

This happened at a time when the world is already in the midst of a major trade war. India’s strategic blunders not only damaged its own air force but also undermined the credibility of Western arms manufacturers. Now, their traditional buyers are shifting toward China, and the Chinese defense industry is set to rise rapidly. Pakistan’s defense industry will also benefit from this shift.

Just as Turkey proved its capabilities in drone warfare, Pakistan and China are now emerging as leaders in electronic warfare and kinetic strike technology. This marks a major diplomatic and military gain for both Pakistan and China—and could very well signal long-term embarrassment and strategic decline for both India and the West.
Jet fighters are to be used in battles and can be lost in clashes.

India has F3-R variant.
France is using more capable F4-R variant and offered said variant to UAE.
Dassault is now developing even more capable F5-R variant.

The IAF have shortcomings that are noted here and here. The French also have similar claim.

Classic fighter jet vs. fighter jet scenarios have less relevance in modern aerial clashes and competency in the EW and C4ISR domains are important considerations. The PAF developed LINK 17 to create a network of all jet fighters, EW platforms, and ISR platforms to become a more effective fighting force. The PAF also strive for excellence in training its pilots and how to utilize different aircraft in war. The IAF needs to catch up in these matters. Air Marshal (R) Arshad Malik mentioned in a talk show that the IAF is an amateur in utilization of the Rafale F3-R. He also mentioned that Air Marshal Sujeet Pushpakar Dharkar had same complaint but his view was ignored.

An American commentator also had similar view. He mentioned that the US Air Force and the US Navy have created a network of different platforms and EW/SEAD aircraft are combined with standard jet fighters to handle threats as a collective.

To be honest, not many countries have managed to develop an advanced Air Force and understand how to fight in this area. Many have capability gaps the US can plug (friendly) or exploit (opposing).

So either Pakistan was forced to prematurely launch its retaliation or India got wind of it being today and did the cruise missile strikes to try and force Pakistan to not do it on the basis of escalation???
Pretty sure US is pissed because of the spotlight given to China. Another member mentioned US intelligence sharing with India earlier.
