A highly intense yet deeply engaging debate. I completely agree with Piers Morgan on this. There is absolutely no justification for calling a five-year-old child a racial slur.
In fact, I believe racial slurs should never be used, regardless of the situation. If someone is angry at another person, they can express their frustration in other ways, insulting them directly if necessary, but resorting to racial slurs is unacceptable.
Racial slurs do more than target an individual, they condemn an entire group of people who have nothing to do with the conflict. Using a slur against a Black person, for example, does not just attack that individual, it demeans all Black people. The same applies to slurs against White, Asian, or any other racial group. It makes no sense to generalize hatred in this way.
Anger is a natural human reaction, and people often lash out when frustrated. However, we should be mindful of how we express that anger. Resorting to racial slurs only spreads division and reinforces harmful stereotypes.

Are you suggesting that a foreign country should intervene in your nation's internal matters? Am I understanding that correctly?
First, I do not believe the US embassy should be interfering in the internal affairs of other countries.
Secondly, after the 1960s, when Black Americans were granted full civil rights, DEI played a crucial role in helping them integrate into society. Without these initiatives, they would likely have faced significant barriers and remained far behind in terms of social and economic progress. Over time, other ethnic groups also benefited from these policies, which is a point that can be debated.
However, as I have previously explained, DEI are not solely about promoting racial minorities. More importantly, they support individuals with mental and physical disabilities. For example, people with autism face significant challenges in the workforce, with fewer than 20 percent currently employed. If these initiatives were removed, most of them would likely lose their jobs, perhaps with the exception of those with high-functioning autism.
On the other hand, I agree with your last point that all societies should ultimately strive to be merit-based.

Most likely a favorable outcome for the Republicans. Numerous polls indicate that if she were the Republican candidate, they would lose the seat. However, Governor Kemp would have the upper hand in the race. Good for the Democrats that he is not in the race.

There is nothing “pathetic” about the outcome, however, this MAGA tool either does not understand it or is not capable of understanding it, or perhaps he simply does not care.
I support the concept of the bill. Its goal of keeping the United States at the forefront of the global cryptocurrency market is absolutely necessary. However, the Democrats, joined by three Republicans, raise a valid point; moving too quickly on such a complex issue can be harmful. It is crucial to address key concerns, such as anti-money laundering safeguards, to prevent terrorists and drug smugglers from exploiting any weaknesses in the legislation and endangering national security. Additionally, the bill does not adequately address consumer protection.
It is likely that a more balanced and amended version of the legislation will easily be approved.
