Now I will warn you, unlike Musings and Waz I am not so tolerant of indians right after now after innocent children have been martyred in Pakistan and your pathetic excuse for an airforce dopped a friggin drone 1000 meters close to my neighbourhood.

I guess the secret is out. It does not take an oil lamp but sacrifice of 5 Rafale to summon the Devil.

couple of days since the BVR battle between Pak and India and we now have a somewhat accurate understanding of what happened. One thing that puzzled me was the lack of any evidence that India AF has fired off any BVR missiles at PAK AF jets. Couple of possibilities for this.
1. they didn't have any. There was some reports that the French have delayed Meteor shipments to India
2. Indian AF was not allowed to engage based on rules of engagement
3. India AF has some serious issues with datalink compatibility where the air defense and AWACS radars were unable to provide guidence to the Meteor missile to support BVR combat. It is very unlikely that the frontline fighters would turn on their radars to guide the missile as that will make them a target.

My money is on #3. Pak AF is setup for BVR combat while Indian AF is not.
 
The lack of drone/missile debris coming out from India is very interesting given they claim to have shot down everything. I'm inclined to believe details are being withheld purposefully.

Good performance from Pakistani armed forces, PAF lethal as ever but I'll continue to say it, we're playing with fire if we don't execute proper economic and political reform on an urgent basis. Indians are still largely incompetent and hysterical but they have a growing amount of cash to start throwing at the problem. Eventually shit will stick. Given they're already 7x larger, we need to ensure we're prepared not only for the next 5 years but also the next 50. Our security can be guaranteed when the economy flourishes and we're politically stable.

Damage assessment on the Pakistani side is ongoing. Parliament will be summoned and summarized on the matter. Due process is part of democracy. Pakistani parliament will request the government to take the matter to Hague.

We do not expect any democratic proceedings into anything that is happening from the Indian side. No one in Pakistan is interested nor anyone in India about Indian governments transparency in this war.
