So @Deino

As I recall (since I have been quite away from all these things), J-31 v1 is completely different from other variants. Is that design still under consideration or was that just a tech demo?

Then v2 appeared in 2016, followed by another unit of the same.

Then there was a naval version with catapult system.

And then there’s the latest version which is based on the 3rd version (naval) but for airforce.

What are the key differences between v2 and the ones that came on later? Like in terms of design or engine.

We had deployed drones in Balochistan, just before this war we were carrying out
150 IBOs every day.
Even then, if you look at it casualty-wise, the situation is a lot worse in Balochistan with security forces receiving more deaths than militants.

even though DG ispr said that we do not have any indian pilot in our custody
but look at airforce offical smiling, something is fish for sure

I was stationed in Balochistan at one point so I know the unique issues there.

Outside of Quetta Balochistan is a very hard and rugged place.

Our troops are often targeted when they are in non tactical movement. This is the BLA MO, the other option they go for is the old motorcycle VBIED.

The BLA and their affiliates use a mixture of EFPs platter charges and daisy chained IEDs to initially cause chaos or divert a convoy before picking off troops with snipers.

Ot they place snipers at key checkpoints to bottle necks and will pick off troops travelling in soft skin vehicles.

Then you have their unspoken agreement with the Afghsn Kidnap for Ransom groups operating out of Pishin I and II refugee camps.

We have been fighting them for 20 years and have lost close to 80,000 people from 2000 to 2025.

I myself have lost a relative who was martyred fighting terrorists in SWAT valley.

Traditional ground incursions dont work in the wrong run because we have a large area to cover - these terrorists can melt into Afghanistan, we have fenced off all of the Afghan border, but patrolling it through manpower alone is not efficient or effective.

Its 2025, drones are going g to be the future of combat and warfare.

No no, you misunderstand I'm not talking about incursions. I'm talking about clandestine stuff, the guy's food gets poisoned, he gets shot by mystery people while walking somewhere in afghanistan. His car blows up. etc etc.

There is plausible deniability, as well as less collateral damage. And no headache of finding out you ordered a drone strike it missed or it bombed a wedding party or whatever. The US bombed Pakistan for 20 years with drone strike and with nothing to show for it.

That would work for small group of people but the TTP and BLA are in the thousands and their top leadership hide outside Pakistan.

BLAs top leadership are hiding in India and UK

TTP leadership is hiding in Afghsnistan.

@RescueRanger @Oscar @Panzerkiel Do you guys have any idea why didn't we use our own cruise missiles, Babur and Ra'ad? They have longer range, more lethality, harder to intercept - than Fatah (I think).

Cruise missiles have been the choice for Entrée by Americans for instance and now banyas too.

So why didn't we use ours?
It's a step by step response. Their turn was next.

The fall of Assad has reversed Turkiye's fortunes, which happened at the hands of their HTS proxy, so the wall is one piece of this puzzle.

Thats not why. Infact the Syrian branch of the PKK has so far refused to follow Ocalan's order, only the Turkish branch and possibly the Iraqi branch. The real reason why the insurgency in Turkey collapsed is b/c its become downright impossible to get into the country from the southern border.

I would assume the Pilot would be returned (If we have her) without much fanfare

Most likely don't want to highlight the issue publicly. Just deal with matter behind scene

They've started a new tactic as well, where they block convoys of levies or civilians, and kill them if they're Punjabis or take their weapons.

Uneducated? These bloodthirsty creatures are employed at the top of western institutions and run a merited rat race all their lives.

Illiteracy is not fuelling the Indian hatred and genocidal desires. On the contrary, this is a result of mass brainwashing across all spheres of the society. This hatred is through education not for the lack of it.

dont confuse degrees with education ... totally different things.. do you think Abu Jahail was not technically educated?
