Pakistan has close cultural/ethnic ties with Persians and Turks. That is why we support Turkey and Azerbaijan. While the Armenian policy is that my enemy’s enemy is my friend so they allied with India.
 
It is indeed clear from what we all know up till now that Pak started relentlessly hitting the military targets inside India and almost wiped out all their airbases/airstrips along the LoC, WB, and Pak-India border. That was level 1 of the Pak response.

Pakistan was about to kick start Level 2 to hit Indian economic infrastructure and also started getting ready for the final level for potential nuke exchange in case Modi does not come to his knees.

However, it merely took a short few hours before Modi melted down even before the completion of Level 1 and frantically started requesting the US for an immediate ceasefire. Pakistan agreed to that on its own terms.

That is also a very strong possibility.

Indians are probably feeding their version to calm their public that has had its heart broken to pieces because they are fooled into believing that their army and defense is invincible.

When reality is hard to take, you counter it with propaganda.
