FYI, that's ai audio. They're using a "podcast" ai I ran into a few months back. I recognize those voices, it's completely fake, even if it sounds real.

Serial production is close. By 2030 or so.
Lol J36 and J50 are not in the serial production, CAC and SAC building only prototypes for testing, just like J20 project, and you want to PLAAF/PLAN induct untested and unfinished products lol

He doesn't, he's lying.
No @Yommie is not lying sir but @Yommie always assumes and speculate nonsense and crap sir

And @Yommie your military general says on various your local media that J50 and J36 will not come online before 2035, so do you know better than your military general that when J50 and J36 will get induct into PLAAF and PLAN lol

The rate of flight test of J-36 is much higher than these with J-20, not to mention J-50 comparing to J-31/35.

Judging by this rate, it definitely looks like these birds could get their early delivery to PLA around 2030.

The pace is not unheard of during the height of cold war: From prototype to early batch in 5 years.

Not at all your military general said on your various local medias that J50 and J36 will not come online before 2035, and do you know better than your military general that when J50 and J36 will be induct by PLAAF and PLAN lol

Some people are bringing down the 6th generation induction from 2035 to 2030 due to extensive testing of the planes. We still have 4 years and 7 months left till 2030. Its does look likely they will beat 2035 prediction.

There is no official source in our local media say anything about when J-36/50 enter service.

As for forecast, of cause these who run a project tend to give a more conservative estimation, thats human nature.

And China has always beat our conservative estimation about almost any projects, unlike the US.

The subsystems on J-36 and J-50 are already mature. When J-20 was under flight testing, China did not have AESA, EOTS etc. These systems are already mature on J-36, J-50. Testing is much faster. We are at the point of the second prototype of J-20, not the first prototype of J-20.
