Chinese 6th Generation Aircraft News & Discussions

Lol J36 and J50 are not in the serial production, CAC and SAC building only prototypes for testing, just like J20 project, and you want to PLAAF/PLAN induct untested and unfinished products lol
There would probably be no serial production until USA introduces its 6th gen to production

The subsystems on J-36 and J-50 are already mature. When J-20 was under flight testing, China did not have AESA, EOTS etc. These systems are already mature on J-36, J-50. Testing is much faster. We are at the point of the second prototype of J-20, not the first prototype of J-20.
Again you're guessing baseless and how do you know that J36 and J50 technologies are based on J20 technologies?

And airframe also needed rigorous testings in real-time scenarios, they are just started flying in Dec 2024 and you think they are already serial production lol kid how old you're

FYI, that's ai audio. They're using a "podcast" ai I ran into a few months back. I recognize those voices, it's completely fake, even if it sounds real.
This AI “podcasters” don’t sound like they have any humanity, no pauses or personality; basically Muzak compared to real Music. Like a bland NPR, which is already bland.

How do you know? We have seen that for J20 in full capability J20 project completed in 2023 (WS-15)
Let me put it in another way: you will see pairs of 6th gen fighters flying over the Changan Avenue in Beijing come the 2029 military parade.

The J-20 made its first flight in 2011 and entered service in 2017.

J-36 and J-50 share AESA, EOTS with J-20. Progress is much faster than when J-20 was flight testing in 2011 and 2012.

Relax bhai, why so excited. Firstly, Chinese general will never ever reveal a timeline of when something is to be inducted or serial produced. This is just state secret. Officially, NOBODY within the government has ever admitted to the existence of even J-50/J36. It doesn't exist.

so you're saying your military general saying wrong can I post the links for you?

One of our general even say thing like there is no J-20 on CCTV in 2012 or sometime.

Timeline can change and information can be misleading, thats why you get a brain, not just ears.

Like I said before, the fast pace of flight test of J-36/J-50 suggesting the early delievery quite possible.

So China has no future version of AESA or a next gen radar under development? The current radar will be used for next gen aircraft? Same with EOTS?

So what the point? Soviet Union/Russia did the same thing to their Mig-25 they included Mig-25 in their military parade and she was still development phase

Not within few months but in few years testing will complete, look dude J50/J36 are more complex than J20, they are first Chinese MANNED jets that have no horizontal and vertical tails, needs rigorous airframe testing to perfect tailless design , as well as new meta-materials/avionics/sensors/maneuverability (unrelated to J20 avionics/sensors/meta-materials/maneuverability) are needed to be tested extensively and this testing takes years to complete

Tailless jet ain't nothing new. Ho 229 goes back to 1944.
