I tend to believe that Macron is negotiating with China to exchange the reduction of tariffs on Chinese goods for the J10C not participating in the air show. I don’t know much about the French; as an old rival of France, do you think that France will allow the J10C to participate in this air show?

PL-17 is not for export. And the Chinese wouldn't even give it to Pakistan, unless China's own independent strategic calculus changes or if a new generation of missiles arrive.

China is not going to just hand out its top of the line latest weaponry to Pakistan, and especially not for free. China may not even want to see Pakistan totally dominate India.

I don't think the J-10C can carry the PL-17. Also, don't overhype the PL-17 — it's not a replacement for the PL-15, but rather a complement to it. Think of it as a slimmer HQ-9B, designed to be carried by an aircraft.

The shortcomings of the J10C are obvious, low payload, weak ground attack capability, no CFT. if improvements are needed it's really quite simple.

But in a world that is clearly moving into the 5G/6G era, do we need to continue to devote resources to a 4G fighter? And with PL-17 and other follow-on missile models getting longer and heavier, do we need to continue to invest resources for a single-engine light fighter?

Instead of ordering more J10C, Pakistan should shift its resources to J35 as soon as possible.India is bound to not look forward to AMCA and Su57 after losing faith in Rafale.They will surely get F35 as soon as possible.

Hi,

J10C's primary role is that of air superiority---. It was not designed for strike role
 
With the JF-17, J-10 and soon to arrive J-35 PAF should sell off its F-16, maybe to another country already operating it or back to the USA and reinvest the funds in these latest aircrafts. F-16 although a very good platform has too many strings attached and if they cannot be used against India what's the use for them.

Its good for what it is, can fill the Gripen/Rafale role for countries on a budget.
Will be interesting to see what capabilities the J35 will bring to the table once inducted vs. aircrafts like KAAN.

Pakistan needs to get its economy in order to bolster its defence.

The early version of the F16 can maintain the number of pilots, especially the fourth generation fighter pilots. Pakistan still has a batch of J-7 and Mirage waiting to retire, and the vacancies caused by these fighter jets need to be filled to maintain daily patrols, train pilots as training resources, and target unmanned aerial vehicles.

He is quite famous, but usually just talks about things based on open source,his target audience are general public, we usually followed the accounts that can brings us news or hints, like most of the Chinese military enthusiasts knew about the first flight of J-36 at the beginning of last year Dec because words spreads by those accounts.
