Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

It is obvious that Trump is going out of his way to praise Pakistan. He doesn't have to but he is. Perhaps his attempt to force India to accept trade deals / weapons purchases is the real reason but no denying that since his speech to the US Congress some months ago, American companies showing interest in Pakistan's mineral sector, and the US Involvement in The 100 Hours War, there is a change in the American stance toward Pakistan, at least as of now.
There is a reason Trump has become so hated in India these days.
100 hours war, yes I think that's a good one

And to that, I'd add the positive role Saudi Arabia has played in not only defusing the tensions between India and Pakistan but also acting as a bridge to Washington. It was obvious that MBS looked very joyous when Trump brought up the ceasefire between India and Pakistan during Trump's speech in Riyadh just a few days ago.
The Saudis have deep trade interests with India but that's the extent of the relationship but they have civilizational ties with Pakistan and they know India's treachery, two-face during the Israel-Gaza conflict.
I think the Saudis and the Brits have been given the role to engage with Pakistan as both countries know Pakistan better than Washington does.
All these are NOT good news for Modi.

It's hard to know at this stage the tenor and texture of Saudis efforts to act as a bridge, as of now.

I had one account, that the Saudis urged Pakistan not to retaliate to India, however Pakistan obviously ignored this

I think that generally speaking they very much align to American nudges and winks, therefore the old mental muscle memory of assuming Saudis motives to be one thing, when in fact they are generally perhaps another, should be avoided

As for Iran, again who knows as well what their motives were, to be honest it seems like a very very bold move to just declare yourselves as potential mediators when neither party necessarily deems you to be credible in that capacity

On top of it the crypto currency initiative by the Pak Deep State in being done with a US company where Trump's sons are stake holders. Please figure in the minerals inside Afganistan too! And, a "live and let live" understanding with China shouldn't be ruled out either. Like all "ideologies" Trumpism requires financing too from their very own sources. What better sources than the KSA/GCC, China, minerals etc.? And, the Pak Deep State can facilitate all of these....

Interesting 2nd point raised by Rahul Gandhi.

How many aircraft?

'Standing out', this stupid ba$tard's attack killed kids, and we should do nothing.
Thankfully the PAF struck hard.

But, what do you think about this?

you have to remember that am important American imperative these days is to ensure that middle powers, like Saudi, like India, and further down the list even Pakistan, do not join the Russia China currency, and technological order

Therefore, Pakistan aligning to an American crypto direction, well isn't that also aligning to the status quo?

The GCC Arabs just signed BIG trade deals with Trump, which he would 'sell' as big wins to his electorate as tens of thousands of new jobs in America; my MAGA wife and other MAGAs I have met are already crowing about that. And for Trump to oblige the Saudis by putting in some 'balance' in the India Pakistan relationship would be 'Pennies on the Dollar' transaction. Americans have the Indians boxed-in and grabbed by the balls: What other choices India have now after alienating almost all of India's neighbors and creating a hostile China?? I am 100% certain that Americans have sensed the Indian dire weakness and are going to milk the situation to America's advantage and I am 100% certain now that Modi's foreign policy is already a disaster for India.

The thing is, all the news articles and digital programs label these attacks on Terrorists HQ or camps. All the Google searches lead to that.

We are still making memes and voiceover.
