I have been saying since the days Sea Sultan was announced by Pak Navy...
...that all 3 branches should just standardize on one aerial platform for their jets such as AWACs, MPAs, and any HAVASOJ types.

Maybe it is too costly and unnecessary to standardize right now for assets Pakistan already has(AWACS)...but for Sea Sultan MPA...PN is getting off the shelf components and possibly going to have some company(South African or German I think) to integrate it all together...that would've been a chance to take that first step.

Speaking of...anyone know how is Sea Sultan MPA project coming along?

And all platform customization to be done inhouse at PAC. They had gained invaluable expertise resurrecting the Eirieyes. Should have had convinced PN to atleasted have PAC involved in the Sea Eagle and Sea Sultan refits.
