In 2007-2008, pre-great recession, India was in a sweet spot. If they had secured that deal between Manmohan Singh and Musharraf on Kashmir, and pivoted to economics, they still could have attracted enough business that was going to China. Pakistan was stuck dealing with Afghanistan. China under Hu Jintao was very cooperative with India, especially in the lead up to the 2008 Olympics.

I believe PLAAF has had one other exercise with RTAF tgat flew Gripen/Erieye vs J10A and allegedly Gripens beat the anot out of them.

Hey, live real war games exercises are important too other than real wars, US experiences were like more fighting terrorists in the last few decades. J10A is the old original version of J10, not surprising that they lost to Gripens in exercise that were more advanced at the time. But, J10B and J10C beat Gripens every time PLAAF had exercise with Thai Air Force since then.

The Fatah-1 MLRS uses warheads weighing between 350-450 kg, which are conventional or nuclear, according to some sources. The Fatah-1 MLRS is a self-propelled artillery system that can launch 300mm missiles from 8 tubes. The Fatah-I variant, part of the Fatah MLRS, has a maximum firing range of 140 km.

More specifically:

  • Fatah-1 Warhead Weight: 350-450 kg (770-990 lb).
  • Fatah-1 Caliber: 300 mm.
  • Fatah-1 Launch Tubes: 8.
  • Fatah-1 Maximum Range: 140 km.
The Fatah MLRS also includes the Fatah-II variant, which can fire larger missiles from 2 launch tubes and has a longer range (400 km). According to Wikipedia, the Fatah-II has a maximum firing range of 400 km

The Tejas is the best Indian example of what not keeping up with tech because of how slow their industries work.

The J-10 was thought about in 1981, approved in 1986, first assembled in 1997, operationalized in 2006, with the J-10C variant flying in 2021; most likely the final variant. With China transitioning to more advanced fighters this fighter will be fielded but slowly phased out in a decade or two. The full life cycle complete. India on the other hand has barely produced the Tejas, in the same amount of years, even when they had the support of French industry and GE 404 engines.

Russians also used some ingenuity in using glide bombs, which are very difficult to intercept. Pakistan should look into that as missiles can take a v long time to develop.

We should also invest in cheap technology that we can deploy in huge numbers. India has more money but it also has a much larger territory to defend and, as Stalin said, quantity has a quality all its own.

I stopped watching this Peerzada guy after his very first podcast on May 7 when it was clear he had too much bugz against the Pak military to talk objectively.

He claims the ISI tried to shut down his YouTube channels before the war and he is carrying that baggage into his vlogs.
 
Moeed pirzada and Adil raja have gone completely mad and rogue. You may disagree with the establishment but why downplaying PAF’s achievements on international media?

There’s a very thin line between being a genuine rebel and being a traitor to millat. They’ve just crossed that line now.

In the present battle space your indigenous R&D team should be a part of your strike package! They need to be able to instantly modify the parameters, codes, systems etc. "on-the-fly" as the battle conditions change in real time to have an optimal effect. They need to be that proficient, prolific, and sharp-minded....
