Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Based on the available evidence, two major claims currently appear false or unverified:

Shooting down PAF fighters – There's no credible or independently confirmed proof supporting this. Indian narratives have no evidence, and open-source data doesn't back the claim.

Destroying S-400 systems – This appears highly unlikely. No reliable evidence has emerged showing damage to such high-value Russian systems, which would otherwise be a major strategic event.

To me this is more interesting about kirana hills because it's very sensitive, the situation remains murky. It's an extremely sensitive location, and the fog around it is thick. Even international conflict trackers and media outlets report inconsistently
I would go by Republic TV reports, since it is the most reliable TV news outlet in India with verified video footage.
Some extremely important visuals supporting claims as evidence : ,
(a) Karachi port destroyed, (b) Lahore and Pakistan Azaad Kashmir captured (c) Baluchistan independent. (d) 4 JF-17s, 2 AWACS, 2 F-16s shot down and pilots captured (e) 20% of Pakistan Air Force destroyed and grounded (f) All Pakistani Air Bases permanently rendered non-functional by heavy bombing,
All news has been verified and analyzed by renowned defense experts like Major General GD Bakshi.

Available evidence of S400...

S400 operator killed, PAF showing satellite image of Adampur where they hit S400 radar (poor quality but difference is there)

@Sharma Ji All because of a few lack lustre Bayraktar Drones? Funny no one in India is calling for a boycott of China which supplied J10C and PL-15 missiles. No Chinese restaurants have been ransacked, No Chinese flags have been stomped on No Chinese visitors have been lynched, A movie on Galwan has not been launched by Bollywood yet.

As of 2023 There were 23,198 Indian students studying in China .

Wonder why?
Erdogan keep shooting his mouth off about Kashmir, that's why :D

This is absurd, I live near Kirana hills. There is nothing like what Indian media outlets are reporting about nuclear radiation because of Indian Strikes, all we had here were two drones which were shot down.

The majority of people don't know about Indians. So they think there's some propaganda on both sides, but they have no idea of what Indians are like. They have no idea of "Quetta captured by BLA rebels" and "Karachi port completely destroyed" or "Islamabad fell,Sharif surrendered". They actually have no idea about how bad the IAF is.

Yesterday,a friend of mine came over my place and we were talking. And he says "There's evidence coming out,the Indians destroyed 20% of Pakistani air bases and Pakistani air defence failed". I showed him screenshots and videos of their propaganda. He didn't care much.

The majority of Greeks into defence stuff(the rest have no clue at all)don't know more about Indian propaganda or Indian behavior online. And with the very bad record of Pakistani illegals here and the whole Turkey-Pakistan friendship, they tend to believe India didn't suffer so many casualties and destruction.
In the end this kind of info plays at both ends. I had several Saudis, Egyptians, Palestinians, Turkish, Syrians, Chinese who, when they meet me, right away give a huge smile and say something on the lines of " You Pakistanis ae amazing, you downed 7 (some even coming up with 8 or 11) Indian planes and took down 70% of Indian electricity Grid permanently". No matter what the details are, most of the people just look at Social Media and absorb whatever they read. The major global perspective now, is that:
  • India lodged 2 -3 Missiles into Pakistan
  • Pakistan royally screwed Indian planes in the air
  • India sent 80 drones, Pak sent 500+ drones
  • India pummeled Pak's airbases and took them out
  • Pakistan Pummeled Indian airbases back, took some out along with 2 S400s
  • Trump Jumped in to prevent a Nuclear war (and Indians are unhappy with the outcome).
Regardless of what is true of the above or not, 90% of the people believe this all and moved on. The thing is that India did all their attacks at night, which makes the impacts look huge and devastating. Our Impacts on Indian bases were in daylight and people only saw a blasts / smoke from distance. The optics matter to regular public. Other than a very very small groups of people, nobody cares about the technicalities or verifications.

@Sharma Ji

What's the deal with this story here, I don't get why it's worth so much time, is it just that she seems like she was on talking terms with someone in Pakistan and therefore that is outrageous?

Will you be okay, sir?

what is it ?

The Indians are out of options. Russian stuff just doesn't work. French stuff is massively overpriced and overrated. They local industry cannot develop anything they have confidence in ( where was Tejas in all this ?!? ).

They have to go American near term with all the issues that brings and maybe Tempest/GCAP long term. They still have the choice of Gripen-E and training from Swedes on training/warfighting concepts as part of that but that simply delays the embrace with the USA that they need to make eventually.
Yes, exactly, pretty much summed it up.

And of course, supposing they do get those f-35's, what utility will they serve to USA if they are actually directed at Pakistan?

Ok, you might as a US strategist think a proxy war between India and Pakistan is in fact us tech versus Chinese tech, but at the end of the day that would leave the Chinese sitting very pretty away from the line of fire and being able to sharpen and hone their capabilities from a distance.

Also, I don't know if an f-35 has actually been taken down, but you can pretty much assume it probably will with the iaf

The Fatah-1 MLRS uses warheads weighing between 350-450 kg, which are conventional or nuclear, according to some sources. The Fatah-1 MLRS is a self-propelled artillery system that can launch 300mm missiles from 8 tubes. The Fatah-I variant, part of the Fatah MLRS, has a maximum firing range of 140 km.

More specifically:

  • Fatah-1 Warhead Weight: 350-450 kg (770-990 lb).
  • Fatah-1 Caliber: 300 mm.
  • Fatah-1 Launch Tubes: 8.
  • Fatah-1 Maximum Range: 140 km.
The Fatah MLRS also includes the Fatah-II variant, which can fire larger missiles from 2 launch tubes and has a longer range (400 km). According to Wikipedia, the Fatah-II has a maximum firing range of 400 km
Sir i think you mixed the warhead weight with Iranian missile.

@Quwa
sir, knows better its artillery rocket 18kg warhead is what i know

right now, Pakistan ignores the F35. If the Indians do get it, then how long will it be before ISI gets all the technical data and secrets from India ? No one can keep anything secure in the India context. When Pakistan does get that technical data, Pakistan will share it with China. There will be no restrictions on doing that as Pakistan has not signed on to protect any intellectual property of the F35.

Yeah, but no disrespect, no one really cares what 10 million Greeks think my dude.

I personally love the place (holiday in Kefalonia often) and some Pakistanis even have Greek DNA, but your country and people do not really care what happens in Pakistan and vice versa
That's what I'm saying. They don't know the concept of "*****" in the first place. The majority don't know about Indian behavior or that Pakistan isn't a "terrorist State". They haven't gone beyond the news articles.

I was in the very late 2000s and very early 2010s supposedly slightly pro-Indian. Then I started interacting with Indians on Facebook. You see where I stand now.
