Amid escalating tensions between Pakistan and India, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has reportedly compiled a list of prominent Pakistani YouTubers accused of running hate campaigns against the state and military leadership.

According to sources within the PTA, the agency has submitted requests to the federal government seeking immediate approval to block and shut down these YouTube channels operating within Pakistan.

The move comes as part of a broader effort to curb content deemed detrimental to national security and public order during the ongoing diplomatic strain.

The list reportedly includes well-known personalities such as:
  • Imran Riaz
  • Sabir Shakir
  • Siddique Jan
  • Shahbaz Gill
  • Ahmed Noorani
  • Waqar Malik
However, the authority is still awaiting official government clearance to proceed with blocking other channels on the list. In addition, the compiled data, highlighting individuals accused of spreading anti-army propaganda, has been shared with YouTube’s administration for further action.

According to PTA, YouTube has been requested to take down several accounts promoting anti-state narratives. “So far, 3,248 YouTube channels spreading anti-Pakistan content have been blocked,” the official revealed. In a broader context, the PTA has blocked a total of 119,496 URLs containing unlawful content.

On a separate note, the spokesperson mentioned that upon PTA’s request, YouTube blocked 68 Indian channels in Pakistan.

However, the spokesperson clarified that while the PTA is empowered to block or remove illegal online content under its mandate, the responsibility of filing legal cases and conducting arrests lies with law enforcement agencies. “Various provisions of PICA (Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act) and the Pakistan Penal Code may be invoked against those involved,” the spokesperson added.

Pakistan, for example, did not simply purchase J-10C fighter jets from China, but also built supporting doctrine, training systems and operational structures to integrate them into a formidable air defense apparatus. Indonesia should learn from this approach and end the pattern of acquiring military assets without first establishing the systems to utilize them. Instead of chasing “symbolic prestige”, Indonesia’s defense strategy must be grounded in geographic reality, threat perception and the capacity to control its own airspace."

There may well now be a window, ironically, for Pakistan to kind of be the military north star kind of, of the global south.

some countries will in fact naturally look to Pakistan. Please also don't sleep on Africa, let the Indians mock Somalia, they keep mocking Somalia, well I think Pakistan should never ever go down this route.

World give two cents about morality, right or wrong, good or evil. Its all about might is right. What is happening in holly lands is ample proof. If India had most of the world with it at start (meaning they believed that it was Pakistan behind Phalgam) , because of the perception and narrative of India being more powerful against Pakistan, that is shattered now. Its not world has got some new evidence which clear Pakistan of any wrongdoing, its simply the case of raw power being respected. Mess around with Pakistan and find out.

We must milk it to the nth, we must bring forth all the evidence of our strikes into mainland India. Its will be criminal if we dont. Economic growth is directly proportional to the raw power state possess.
 
This is such low quality propaganda! Pakistan considers Indian Sikh community as allies and vice versa and so for Pakistan to attack one of their holiest sites make no sense at all. Indians have lost all marbles!
