Yeah, I’ve raised that too. He seemed like a professional guy which is not easy to find amongst Modi’s cronies these days. I wouldn’t be surprised if he wants to resign after this debacle.

Perception sells in Pakistani and Indian circles. I have seen some neutral content that is very informative and worth checking out. Some neutral observers pointed out errors in claims on both sides as they have access to better technology and also revealed more than local sources.Agreed. Virtually every western analysis very very grudgingly accepts what happened but they Bend over backwards to try to put forward wording to mitigate India’s utter humiliation. They are programmed to be rabidly anti Chinese and their bet on India now looks like a joke so reality is hard for them to stomach. Can u imagine their reporting if heaven forbid the boot was on the other foot

They behave and conduct themselves like the same savage tree swingers that first inhabited the gangetic plains millenia ago. They were shocked when they encountered the advanced civilisation of ancient Iranian migrants in the Indus Valley to their west.
To this day, we remain ahead of them in basic morality and civility.
I know many will argue that the people who post so callously on twitter are but a small sample of the nation of India, but a small sample of 1.5 billion is still enough people to achieve a critical threshold through mass effect alone. The reputation of India is now defined by this critical online mass, and that reputation regularly hovers between embarrasing denial/mitigation of losses and outright barbarism like this. These are the same people who cheer when a civilian aircraft crashed in Karachi, who hooted wildly when our "ports were on fire", and who eagerly anticipate cutting off water supplies to our civilians.

Frankly, if anyone remembers my posts from around 20 days ago, when some members from the Pakistani side were claiming that the PAF could bomb Indian dams
my first response was clear: India's immediate reply would be to target PAF airbases.
That’s exactly what happened, and that’s exactly what will continue to happen if such threats escalate. This time, it was a relatively small matter, but in the event of full-scale war, the stakes and scale will be far higher.
From what I understand about the IAF, we need to move faster toward advanced systems. Right now, we have limited AWACS aircraft, electronic warfare (EW) systems, and other tech that can not back large-scale operators like IAF. In modern warfare, integration of such technology isn’t optional — it’s critical.
Rafale or Su-30 MKI can’t win battles alone. If it turns into one-on-one dogfights, then pilot skill and aircraft capability matter more. But real wars today are fought with layered systems — radar coverage, jamming, networked assets, early warning — and IAF is currently lagging behind on that front.
With only 4–5 AWACS platforms, we’re below the bare minimum for a force of IAF’s size and scope. That needs to change, fast.
In my view, this isn’t an impossible challenge — it’s a matter of urgency and strategic clarity. We need to procure at least 12–16 more AWACS and 5–10 EW aircraft equipped with advanced jammers and communication disruption systems. That alone could transform the IAF’s operational capability and deterrence power.
India is steadily strengthening its air defense systems — and that's a smart move. As these systems grow in range and capability, they'll further limit PAF’s ability to operate in Indian airspace. That’s a key deterrent and a necessary step in modern defense planning.
India is strengthening air defenses smartly, but lagging in air force modernization—especially in AWACS, EW systems, and tech integration. That gap is a serious strategic concern.

Just my reading:
There can be no neutral observers because, had there been any, they would have questioned the Indian establishment's restricted access to satellite imagery.
This represents a case of selection bias and rejects the assumption of independence—unless, of course, they obtain satellite images from other sources and openly share them.
This leads to the next question: why isn't Pakistan showing satellite images? Well, answering that requires, a inference, and one possible reason could be mutual understanding, further re-inforced by un-admitted Pak capture check posts on the other side of LOC.

Right now India feels dejected by Russians, Trump "USA" f@cked them plus whole EU since they refuse to buy their propaganda plus French sell them 2 number Rafales and even accepted of downing their jet by Pakistan.
China defeated them through Pakistan and most of their analysts now suggesting to kiss the feet of China for few years so that China stop hostilities against India meanwhile IWT must be suspended ignoring that we have lot of option especially world did not buy their narrative I am sure India will be not allowed to stop our water and even they don't capacity to that,
