Iranian Air Force (IRIAF/IRGC-ASF) | News and Discussions

I told you.
There are serious websites like Meta Defenses that are pointing that Russia just did not deliver them because Irán request to hold their delivery.

Glad to read you again. Keep posting. I dont have X.
Russia should reconsider Yak36 - 38 program.

He is probably talking about Q-313 Nuclear-Quantum AI powered Deluxe Soleimani Edition Pro+ Max fighter jet Iran is working on since 13 years
That was a bad PR stunt by Ahmadinejad, and Iran is still paying the price. The hypersonic bad boys are the express highway for the cabal to BAAL.

We need a asymmetric fighter jet. None of this heavy weight non sense.
We need a fighter that is inexpensive to produce in volume. Even if they had stuck with the reverse-engineered F-5 with Chinese radars, avionics, and Iranian BVR missiles, Iran's AD would have been amplified 5X.

An F-20 type plane would be better

Tehran chose to prioritize UAVs and ballistic/cruise missiles over domestic combat aircraft. The low build-rate of Kosar, initial trial of 4 to 8 units, was to test subsystems across different airframe stresses before committing tooling is standard procedure. Obviously, they made the right decision on Having the capacity to mass-produce solid-fuel ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and one-way attack drones at this time.
I have said it before. The big blunder was not signing up for the J10s when they had the opportunity. Who knows, maybe Iran will have licensed production of some Russian air craft after the war.

I just want the SU30 production lines here
For Russia, your wish is not a problem at all.
But for Iran, it is a major issue.

It all depends on how exactly you define "production lines." The term has become completely overused these days.

I'd expect 80% indigenization and underground factories. Its not like underground facilities are a issue for iran.

That is where the issue lies.
The 80% you are referring to—is that 80% by weight, by volume, or by value?

Different definitions and interpretations lead to different figures.

Iran desperately needs to modernise her airforce asap, and to do that, she may need to buy a lot of planes directly as it takes along time to setup manufacturing pipelines, infrastructure and people

I don't think Iran can afford to "wait" until local manufacturing is up and running before the jets arrive.

Of course, both streams can be done in "parallel", etc.
