This is huge.

EU lifts all sanctions against Syria.

That means SWIFT working again, investments coming (Volkswagen, Mercedes, Nestlé etc), Mastercard, VISA, all restrictions gone.

This will boost and upgrade Syria and create jobs; actually this is the economic liberation of Syria. They are now part of the world trade sector again.

The main thing is Saudi investment, these sanctions were also preventing Saudi money from pouring in from both the govt as well as private sources, b/c of secondary sanctions where if you invest in Syria, the sanctions from the US/EU kick in where you get sanctioned for having investment in Syria. Now that atleast the EU sanctions are removed, it should be easier, US said they will remove but its a trickier matter, b/c of the Assadist Sympathizers and the Hardcore Zios in the Trump Administration as well as in Congress.

If both those barriers are removed, and everything else goes ok, I would say 10 years we will start to see Syria get back on its feet.

This is good because Syrian economy was based on about 30% agriculture.. a very positive step indeed..

He keeps certified photocopies of the whole thing..

The "resistance" guys they are grasping at straws, oh no they gave some skeleton back and the guy's clothes and personal belongings. Something Assad himself was negotiating to give back in 2007. If Assad gave it back in some sort of deal its Halal, but if the new govt gives it back is haram.

Who cares if it was sent back, there is nothing outside of emotion tied to something like that, Ultimately its tactically meaningless, you can't use that guy's bones for anything.

Ultimately I don't think Israel will stop being antagonistic towards Syria or trying to interfere, but on the off chance this supposed offering lulls the Zionists into some false sense of comfort from the deescalation, thats a positive for Syria as thats what it needs in the short term, the main thing Syria needs is to consolidate and rebuild, and if this buys it some time on that front, thats a good thing. What the return of bones or whatever does do, is isolate Israel from support against Syria, as the israelis look like the spoiler, and the US/UK/EU would be grasping in trying to justify Israeli actions in Syria. We saw that in the Trump Netanyahu meeting, Israelis tried to get Trump to take their side in Syria, but were rebuffed. So far the US and EU have said they will remove sanctions, where Israel wanted to have them remain and create pressure and try to not let Syria stabilize. On the Second matter Netanyahu wanted Trump to pressure Turkey, he rebuffed them on that too saying "Netanyahu has to be reasonable", the third element is that Netanyahu wants the US to stay in Syria, but he was rebuffed there too, atleast somewhat as Trump has signalled he wants a drawdown and an eventual withdrawal. They are trying to slow that down, but its largely going in favor of Turkey and the new govt.

It is all about the Golan heights where Syrian troops were looking down on Israel in the 1973 Ramadan war with their tanks.. was it not for Hafiz Al Assad to call them back from there they could have invaded Israel.. as they were less than two kilometers from the borders..

#Urgent Director of Relations at the Syrian Ministry of Information:
- Gunmen stormed the building of the province
- The arrested in the Suwayda Governorate was released under the pressure of weapons
Imposing law and protecting security in the Suwayda Governorate is an irreversible option
We will not be tolerated any attempt to destabilize security or prejudice state institutions

Now even China is establishing relations. Only the Iranians are the ones too upset to try to engage.

I agreed with the Turkish Minister of Energy to redouble efforts to complete the gas pipeline between Kilis and Aleppo to supply power plants with the equivalent of 6 million cubic meters of gas per day.
