Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Pakistan should absolutely leverage China's help to bring Afghanistan to some level of common sense. China does not want to see the same people on its borders that Pakistan faces. There is common interest. Iran and the others will have similar interests of stablishing Afghanistan, which also means keeping India away as they will do no good there.

That’s the way to go forward . All three countries working together regardless of your beliefs and cultures. Frustrated China took so long and was so slow to response to India activities in Afghanistan. Chinese need to be more proactive. On Iran to a hot bed for Indians terrorists in that country.

One thing is clear we will have an uphill battle pretty soon. Especially when it comes to internal security, but on a personal level I have full faith in our armed forces.
that's because both youthias and cetified lifafa Chitiyas and Patwaris are on the same page on this one..We all want to hurt india and that's what unite us..

Pretty compelling points by Pravin Sawhney.

I am quite interested in the 2 things he mentioned regarding the the stuff China is "giving" Pakistan.

1. Radars
2. EW Jets

Any(one) have clue as to what Mr. Sawhney is referring to...

Something we may have seen at the Zhuhai Airshow last year.

Look at this bad boy in terms of Radar...

And I believe he used the term "EW Jets". If memory serves, the only EW Jets China has are the J-15D, which basically are the EA-18G (the Growler of the PLAAF).

He doesn’t say it all directly, probably doesn’t want to get thrown in jail, but his points are clear. Pakistan just tore India a new one with active Chinese help and weapons. Now that Pakistan has a good understanding of where there are any gaps in Pakistan’s offensive and defensive abilities, China who has all these technologies in abundance will fill the requirements very quickly in addition to more J10’s etc e.g. cutting edge anti drone weapons that sweep an entire area clean. In another one of his recent videos he shares his belief that after much thought he believes that after filling these gaps, it will be Pakistan who, deactivates the current ‘pause’ and proceed to tear India an even bigger one. I’m not sure about that last part but I get his point. I’m quite surprised by how openly China is backing Pakistan. Invite to Dar to visit straight after the war, their ambassadors visit to AHQ and the recent push they’ve made to secure Pakistan’s western flank via CPEC.

They are giving nothing, it's all just propaganda. Did you see Chinese troops coming to the border to fight?

😐

We already have a long range anti-stealth radar recently operationalized.

In fact, open hostility!
They have put it in black and white and sold their souls. They in fact egg on the belligerents. There is a long and drawn out preamble... a wish list... and a goal.
The level of disappointment, is proportionate to the expectation

So people had way too high expectations, or just a bit gullible (not you, of course the opposite, just for others reading)

You see, that's not to say you go to the other extreme

Remembering that, they hod hoped for Pakistan on Iran, likewise Pakistan has hopes for Saudi on India, then there is Turkey

It's just international relations

Western reports still in cope & console 😂mode but accepting that the mighty Ra-fail got cut down😉

Starting to watch this Hassan Khan guy. He is my new Afghanistan expert though I still miss Rahimullah Yusufzai: May that wise Pathan rest in peace.
If what the Chinese engineered in Beijing between Pakistan and Afghanistan holds, then Pakistan's western border will be back to the peace during the Mullah Umar's 1996-2001 regime.

It was not.

Many people forget that during 1996 to 2001, the taliban were starting to flood guns into FATA, Pakistan. They were also sending people to preach about a united Pashtunistan, and a deeply anti-Pakistan messaging.

On top of that, tribal wars had intensified during that time as well between the pro-afghan factions and the pro-pakistan factions.

It was certainly not an era of peace along the western border.

True - but technology is ever changing with more capable solutions coming out over time, so rather than fully and only committing to "one solution", is it not better to make smaller incremental purchases where the performance increases between generations deliver significant value. China is now increasing her military "innovation curve" significantly and Pakistan has a chance to ride that curve with what China is prepared to sell, and what Pakistan can afford. This capability curve will be far more than what the Europeans or USA would "ever" offer to Pakistan due to "Indian" sensitivities, which is not a factor for China. India's problems as far as military technology flowing to Pakistan are on a multiplier right now because both Türkiye and China are innovating so much.

How close to completion is the HQ-9C and can Pakistan get its hands on it to fill in the gaps that it saw during the 100hr conflict? Closer to the bleeding edge brings its own problems, but the capability increase maybe worth the investment of time and risk.

What does that have anything to do with Chinese Troops? No one spoke about Troops.

Prior to Indai's initial attack.

There were Chinese Military planes that landed in Pakistan, followed by Turkish Air Force Transport a/c.

Why were they in town?
What were they brininging in?

Did we get the PL-15 (the non Export version)?

Plenty of questions, but if you see on a PR point. Pakistan just proved the quality of Chinese Equipment that just elevated the Chinese Equipment to new heights & by signalling a message to the West that they aren't a pushover anymore.

It is all relative. I am aware of those things and even the occasional artillery battles between the Mullah Umar's forces with Pakistan. But during Mullah regime's rule, Pakistan barely needed to worry about Pakistan's border with Afghanistan despite occasional friction. And what followed starting late 2001 has been horrible for Pakistan's border with Afghanistan. Most of Pakistan's economic setbacks, image problem, and terrorism is directly related to the events in Afghanistan starting mid-late 1970s.
It is a curse to be Afghanistan's neighbor but it is a cross Pakistan must bear.

And this capability improves the deterrence of China vs the USA as far as any planned war that the USA may have had planned over Taiwan for China. It gives China more time to improve its military before that war takes place as the Americans will be unsure even now how they will fare on a 1-1 with China, even with all they have as of now. Chinese are happy partially for the economic benefit, but i suspect they are more happy with the strategic deterrence increase for it versus the USA.

Sorry sir, I didn't intend for anyone to take it seriously, there where some insistence from fellow Indian colleagues on the forum that China is completely transactional, will never really support Pakistan.....

Obviously, the depth of support is probably going to even surprise the most optimistic as more details emerge
