But whether India can become number 2 is the real question.

And you think it's low ?? That's family of 4 spending 40,000 INR. means 140,000 PKR. Do you have any data to compare it with Pakistan ?

Its like a man with 7 children and two dependent parents earning 40,000 INR a month vs a single child couple earning 38,000 INR. a month. India has ten times the number of mouths to feed which is why there are beggars (and stray cows) on the streets of your cities. Russia has no stray cows pooping on its streets.

How does it feel to be a citizen of a country with a hunger index of 107, and the world's largest population of blind, lepers, illiterates, unemployed, undernourished, beggars & street dwellers?
That is why India cannot militarily defeat, disarm, and occupy a "bankrupt " country 1/7th its size.

This is PDF. Stop embarrassing yourself debating economics with me. Honestly. Indian GDP is measured in Indian Rs and not USD. Various agencies convert it to dollar based on "current" value of conversion rate. There is no "actual" GDP data in USD since rates go up and down. India saw massive Rs. appreciation since Trump took the office.

In 6 months, all the agencies are going to "revise" their data. None of that changes anything. India will be third biggest economy by 2027 or 28, albeit very poor. And richer then everyone but SL in south Asia.
