So are we supposed to overlook who supplied and supported the events of October 7, that may have had something to do with those 27,000 deaths subsequently? It is not as simple as that cartoon shows.

As long as civilians were not deliberately targeted on October 7th then it was all legal according to International Law.
An occupied people has the inherent right to armed resistance.
There is no proof supplied that Hamas deliberately harmed civilians on October 7th.

October 7th was not targeting civilians. Did you even hear from Hamas themselves? You cannot judge without listening to the other side.

So we are again back to Hamas are responsible for 27,000 mainly civilian deaths in Gaza as "Hamas started it".
There is no "directly related" anything about this.
This is not the way International Law works.
Nothing forced the Zionists to reply with what the ICJ has concluded is plausible genocide.

No, Hamas had every right to resist its colonizer who lays siege on Gaza and controls every aspect of their life. If people are hitting Yemen just for trying to stop a genocide by hurting Israel’s economy, what do you call what they are doing to Gaza? Long before October 7 they were still killing Palestinians , building illegal settlements, oppressing Palestinians, supporting settler violence against Palestinians, etc
You cannot justify the carpet bombing of civilians, hospitals, schools, residential towers, etc. more than 50 percent of all buildings in Gaza have been destroyed and over 70 percent in Northern Gaza. Over 13,000 children have been killed. Who are they targetting? Doesn’t seem like it is Hamas. They want the Palestinians out and they want their land. They are destroying everything that will make Gaza habitable. They are even posting videos celebrating demolishing homes, schools, mosques, etc Many members of their parliament have called for expulsion of Palestinians and genocide. The proof is in the pudding. Their lies about Hamas rapes and 40 beheaded babies have been exposed.
Blaming Hamas is like blaming a woman for resisting her rapists. An occupied and oppressed people have every right to resist under these circumstances.
Is over 75 years of occupation and oppression not enough? When can the Palestinians fight for their rights?
When we try to boycott, they say BDS is antisemitic. We go to the UN, the U.S. vetoes any resolution against Israel or us trying to gain statehood. We resist through violence, we are not allowed to that either. Either way the west has shown its intentions clear.
Should Palestinians just sit and die slowly? There is no avenue that makes the West and colonizers happy except the slow death of Palestinians.

I beg to differ as over 75 years of oppression and colonization led to October 7. A people who are tired of having their human rights and freedom be denied led to October 7. A people who are tired of being killed, houses demolished, land stolen, every aspect of their life controlled, borders controlled, water, electricity, movement, etc
Let’s not act like it was all roses for Palestinians even those in the West Bank. This is what the West has supported for years and I do not see any pressure for Israel to stop its occupation, land theft, killings with impunity, encouraging settler violence, etc
What directly led to those deaths is the carpet bombing of civilians and civilian infrastructure to put pressure on Hamas and destroy anything that makes Gaza habitable. This is so people of Gaza are forced to flee and they can steal their land like 1948 Nakba. They were quick to condemn Russia and look at Israel doing 1000x worse than Russia ever did. This is the hypocrisy of the west and the fake democracy and human rights they speak of.
No country who dares support Israel and their crimes shall ever speak about human rights, freedom of speech , or democracy. Biggest liars and hypocrites on Earth.
