What both you and I are saying is they are indeed RELATED. Nothing more. Nothing less. There is no issue here with what I said. None at all.
Yes there is an issue, as I see it as you trying to blame Palestinians for the resistance against their occupier and oppressor and the genocidal actions that Israel has taken. If it was any other country doing this, what would the West have done?

Well, it is not my issue. If it is your issue, then it is your problem, not mine. I said what I said previously.

From the start there have been Zionist detractors on this thread. It is best not to reply to them and instead spend the time on solving problems and developing solutions and strategies for the Palestinians.

“You promise not to let Russia’s war crimes in Ukraine go unpunished, but you don’t utter a single word about Israel’s war crimes in Gaza. Why are you granting a license to kill to Netanyahu?”—Belgian MEP, Marc Botenga

IDF fighters made a significant discovery at the Hamas local division headquarters, believed to be the base of Mohammed Deif and Yahya Sinwar. They uncovered a previously unknown and spacious camp, which served as a military base in the Gaza Strip.

The "al-Qutsiya" base, which housed various compounds, served as the central outpost for the Khan Younis Brigade. It also housed the office of Muhammed Sinwar, the brother of Yahya Sinwar. Upon entering the base, the forces discovered that the terrorists had rigged it with explosives, some of which were concealed within the walls.

The Engineering Corps successfully neutralized them. As the forces approached the base, they came under fire from a group of terrorists positioned nearby. they were ultimately eliminated through a combination of sniper fire, tank shells and support from the Air Force.

Hamas utilized the "al-Qutsiya" base to train terrorists for the attack on October 7. Within the base, there were extensive training complexes, some of which featured models replicating the entrance gates of communities, military bases, and IDF armored vehicles.

The fighters also raided the central war room of the Khan Younis Brigade, as well as the offices of high-ranking brigade officers. The base housed an office for the commander of the Rafat Salameh brigade, along with separate accommodations for soldiers and staff. During their search, forces found a weapons production facility, equipped with advanced German machinery that had been smuggled via the Sinai Peninsula in recent years.

During the operation, the fighters uncovered warehouses filled with rockets and mortars that served as a pathway to the underground tunnels utilized by Hamas. Nearby, they found a workshop dedicated to manufacturing underground combat equipment and infrastructure. This workshop housed a diverse array of weapons, including anti-tank missiles, RPGs, machine guns, side charges, explosives, and various other combat equipment.

Moving displaced civilians

According to the military's assessment, extensive tunnel networks spanning approximately 100 miles have been mapped in Khan Younis, the largest city in the Gaza Strip. These tunnels vary in type and resemble a metro system beneath the surface.

The fighters accomplished a remarkable feat by successfully evacuating over 120,000 Gazans in the past two weeks. They directed them towards designated displaced persons' compounds located within the "Mawasi" humanitarian area. To facilitate this evacuation, a technological checkpoint was set up at the exit of a major refugee camp in the western part of the city. The fighters provided assistance to elderly and disabled Palestinians who faced mobility challenges, ensuring they were provided with food and water along the way.

An additional checkpoint will be established in Khan Younis with the purpose of scanning crowds and identifying potential terrorists. Up to this point, the fighters have successfully located in Khan Younis, around 100 people suspected of involvement in acts of terrorism including members of the Nukhba who took part in the October 7 massacre.

UN envoy cannot sleep: 'Things happened here that I have never seen before'

Pramila Patten, Special envoy for Sexual Violence in Conflict says she now understands the magnitude of the events. Committed to working for the release of the female hostages. Her team will stay here this week, and she calls on the victims to testify

Itamar Eichner|04:29

According to Pramila Patten, the Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Special Envoy for Sexual Violence in Conflicts, she has been unable to sleep for a week since viewing the 47-minute video compiled by the IDF of the atrocities committed on October 7. The scenes continue to haunt her. "Only after I saw the video did I understand things that I didn't understand before in terms of the magnitude of the disaster that happened."

Patten was invited by the Foreign Ministry to visit Israel along with Israel's UN ambassador Gilad Erdan to provide her with a firsthand experience of the extent of the atrocities that took place.

"Patten's visit was especially important to us so that there would be international recognition of the suffering and the horrendous sexual crimes committed against Israeli women and girls on October 7 by the monsters of Hamas," Erdan said. "It is equally important for the world to understand who we are fighting against. The disregard and indifference demonstrated by the UN and its women's organization is a disgrace that cannot be allowed to continue."

Paten will depart on Monday, at the conclusion of an intense 8-day visit. Throughout her stay, she gathered evidence of the incidents of sexual and gender-based violence perpetrated by the terrorists. She came with a delegation of 10 experts from the fields of medicine and law, many of whom will remain after she has left, for at least another week to continue the crucial task of gathering evidence pertaining to the crimes committed.

During her visit, Patten met doctors and psychiatrists from the Ministry of Health, professionals from the Ministry of Social Affairs who specialize in providing support to sexual violence victims, and met with President Isaac Herzog and his wife Michal. She also had the opportunity to meet with representatives from civil society organizations.

To gain a deeper understanding of the horrific events that unfolded, Patten toured locations where the massacres occurred. In Be'eri, she was accompanied by Or Yalin, a survivor of the massacre, and Yossi Landau, a member of ZAKA

Expressing her profound shock, Patten described her experience as unlike anything she had witnessed elsewhere in the world. "The world outside cannot understand the magnitude of the event," she said. "I myself also internalized the magnitude of the event just by being here myself."

She acknowledged the sense of betrayal and abandonment felt by the Israeli people in the UN response to the massacre and the war that ensued. In each meeting she attended, Patten consistently expressed her solidarity, empathy, and sympathy towards Israel. She recognized the profound pain, indignation, and frustration that Israel experienced due to a perceived lack of understanding and attention from the international community regarding the atrocities committed against them.

In Late February, Patten is expected to release a special report on the extent of sexual violence throughout many countries, with a specific chapter dedicated to Israel.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the Likud faction meeting today (Monday) on the continuation of the war against the Hamas terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip.

Netanyahu stated, "Our goal is total victory over Hamas. We will kill the leadership of Hamas, therefore we must continue to operate in all areas in the Gaza Strip. We must not end the war before then. It will take time - months, not years."

On the issue of the hostages, Netanyahu said that "we have already freed 110 of our hostages, we continue to act on this issue, but Hamas has demands that we will not agree to."

"The release mechanism should be similar to the previous agreement. This attempt will not be realized at any cost," he added.

Over 1,200 people were murdered on October 7, mostly civilians, and about 250 people were taken hostage to Gaza. 136 hostages are still held in Gaza about four months after the massacre.
