May Allah (SWT) rest Khafee's soul in peace. He was throwing spaghetti against the wall and something was bound to stick.

Do we know which engine Pakistan prefers?

Let's hope @Deino wouldn't roll up his sleeves and start punching all around on this one .

China is set to start supplying the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) with its Shenyang FC-31 ‘Gyrfalcon' multirole stealth fighter aircraft, a senior Pakistani government official has told Janes.

The FC-31 aircraft “will begin arriving within months”, the official said recently, while also confirming that PAF pilots are in China undergoing training to fly the aircraft. The official did not disclose any terms of the deal, including the date it was signed.

In May another Pakistan government official told Janes that the procured FC-31 will be equipped with China's PL-17 air-to-air missile (AAM), which has a range of about 400 km.

Pakistani officials have not confirmed the number of platforms to be supplied to the PAF, although Janes has previously reported that the PAF was in talks to acquire 30–40 aircraft.

Weren't there people here making fun of this and saying it will take years before this is inducted by PAF?? I think one of those was a Mod who claims he knows everything but the reality is that he doesn't know anything.

@MastanKhan ... looks like PAF and hence Pakistan Military will become probably the most powerful force in Asia sane China who is obviously a Superpower; I don't see anyone in this whole continent who comes even close.

It was said by airchief him self that we are preparing to receive these jets

About 6 months ago it was reported in mainstream that pilot training is completed

I don't know why people live in lala lands seeing the discussion here

For me it may be that this whole may episode was designed to have a victory before arrival of j35

Time line is not a surprise at all, numbers may be once it comes

Deino is very famous in China. Even military enthusiasts and many Chinese military experts know him. They sometimes quote his views. Everyone calls him "the Minion." He knows more about Chinese military equipment than many Chinese people do.

Deino's words are highly credible.😀

There has been no official confirmation regarding the delivery of J-35A fighters to Pakistan in 2025. However, based on current developments, it is likely that a small initial batch, potentially 3 to 6 aircrafts could arrive by August 14, 2026. Further updates on this deal will likely emerge in the coming months.

According to Ali Chisti, the contract was signed recently, in this video.

According to the Jane's website, similar to my previous estimate, the information on FC31 (export version of J35) may have been revealed by Pakistan, and since FC31 was born, there were plans to engage in foreign trade exports. This is likely an optional customized model for Pakistan. As for the PL17 missile, I don't think any country except Pakistan has the possibility of obtaining it in the short term.
