Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

It makes a lot of sense to hold her yet not disclose about her.

1) Her being held puts India on a leash — Obey ceasefire and stay away

2) As for the ISPR debunking the claim, it’s a very political statement. If she’s being held, She’s a guarantee against aggression. If india discloses about her being held hostage and asks openly for her release, that would automatically supercede ISPRs earlier claim.

3) A very important one — Her being held and India’s inability to secure her yet will play a very interesting psychological role on the existing IAF pilots, having disbelief in their leadership’s ineffectiveness to get the captives back.

4) If India restarts misadventures, Shivangi would be out in the public.
I take ISPR's word i dont think we have any pilot in custody, if we did we would probably release her in exchange for IWT being re instated and Simla Agreement ya know.

Yeah, repeatedly saying 'why they went down' to deflect the questions from the woman journalist looked such a weak response; the 'why' should be asked in the Indian Airforce's internal discussions. Pathetic for a man of his stature. Speaking of 'stature', the physical stature is not impressive ;)

He also looked shaken and uncomfortable.

So Indian fighters were hit and the Indian pilots crashed their damaged aircraft on their own. That sounds even worse for the IAF; IAF pilots helping the PAF pilots finish the job. Not just once but multiple times across regions and squadrons. Is this a SOP of the IAF?; when in doubt crash your plane.

We have been getting it all wrong all these years. IAF pilots have been crashing their planes because it is IAF SOP.

I respectfully disagree.

1. If India breaks ceasefire and then we disclose Shivangi it will only end up making us look bad, diplomatically and per the int. law (not that India is following it).

2. I fail to see how holding her captive is a guarantee against aggression.

3. It will have psychological effect on IAF pilots on large scale only if we disclose her captivity. Right now only those in her squadron and top decision makers would have knowledge of her fate.

What i think happened is this

We had AWACS in the air. We could see em before they even saw the clouds.

Then we got to work and launched the PL-15 by locking onto their jets
Shot em and they quickly hit the jets.

Then they went down from what we know in these locations:
Ramban,Bathinda(MOST CONFIRMED KILL), Akhnoor,Poonch and i think one was North of Punjab

In Ramban a Mig 29 was downed and i heard that pilot reportedly died.

In Bathinda a Rafale was Downed and that pilot reportedly died aswell

In North of Bathinda another Rafale went down but that pilot is alive

In Akhnoor another Rafale went down and that pilot is also alive

In Poonch i think the Su-30 went down and the pilot is alive

And a Mirage 2000 also went down somewhere in Kashmir

If we are to trust those Pilot name leaks and the hospitals where they are at.

So all in all it was humiliation

I think that pilot is probably not here. Just take ISPR's word.

Those were just my ideas. You may have yours and I don’t necessarily disagree with yours either.

However, the 3rd one, I would disagree. News runs quickly

IDK, Chinese dont speak English, they are effective!
This complex only exists in our Indo-Pak culture
Japnese dont speak, almost 30% of the world dont speak english.
Brazilians have very good engineers too, they dont speak english!

I

Right but in this well connected world, narrative dominance is extremely important. Why not avail a free tool if you could? English is the lingua franca of the world and that's why countries with low English language heritage like Qatar has Al Jazeera, China has CGTN / Global Times, Iran has Press TV, Turkey has TRT... Pakistan, like India, has far better inheritance of English language and yet has not one decent full time English language channel--but that seems to be changing a bit in just last few weeks, probably spurred by the Pakistani state.

Speaking of narratives, a video of another Indian channel in full time breast beating mode. Summary is: How could India not see Trump going out of his way to acknowledge Pakistan while addressing the US Congress, how could India not see Trump giving $300+ million to Pakistan for the F-16 maintenance, how could India not anticipate that this time China would more openly support Pakistan [credit to Pravin Swahney for warning about this for many years]. Plus, per the video, Hindus are now also perceived as terrorists. The video concludes with ominous words: Had Modi's BJP been in power after the Partition in 1947 instead of Nehru then India would have been broken into pieces and when Modi leaves, he may leave India physically broken.

The female pilot if caught should be handed back by Pakistan to India. There should be no political scoring on this front. And Pakistan army will do its image a lot of good by showing chivalry.

Secondly, these photographic evidences are better off coming slow to make sure the pain inflicted on the Bhakts stay as long and scars as deep.

Under which law should anyone be sent back specially when Indian operation Sindoor is ongoing?

Any POW taken will be dealt by Pakistani law.

Indian origin editor of the Economist Magazine’s Defense segment admits PAF shot down 5 Indian jets but adds a weird twist why they were shot down. Quite laughable but this is stage 5 of India’s grieving cope. Acceptance with caveats lol
