My humble opinion is that the indian female pilot got seriously injured and is in a coma, close to death's door. She is probably in a hospital somewhere in the deepest of india.

Next day when PAF was doing an air sweep all over IOK skies, IAF largely was no where to be seen. Infact there was so much panic that time, their ground Air defense system shot down their own helicopter which was on search and rescue mission for the downed Su30.

IAF chief yesterday speech clearly portrayed frustration that no project finishes in time and they don't get the required weapons they asked for due to corruption and process hurdles BLA BLA BLA. Indirectly he was blaming, throwing a vibe at Govt. Clearly there is not so well among govt and Indian military/AF/ Navy top command these days.
