PA MLRS, Self Propelled and towed artillery [BM-11, Fatah-I GMLRS, Fatah-II] - News, Updates & Discussions

They choose civilian targets first, we responded by downing their planes....they then escalated by striking some of our air bases...we then went all-in by striking their military bases, storage sites and opened heavily along LOC....

Simple question...if they were winning, why did they stop? Why to give another chance to Pak? Or is is another of their 'tactical mistakes'?
Last few questions the 2 day pause what it did cost us?.
Was it a mistake or we needed that time to prepare?
How well are we prepared in the realm of conventional weapons to strike indian urban centers like Mumbai gao, Chennai, Kolkata and bengalore?.

Maybe a threat to these targets, and some more of different types, with longer range missiles is what stopped them dead in their tracks.....and i am not talking about the PAF yet.

So we have Long range conventional missiles other than Babur in PA's inventory?.
Yes or no would suffice, if that's not possible a reaction would.

At the cost of deterrence?.
One thing I sure next time there will be hundreds of missiles raining down on pak before any airstrikes.
Two days of aerial supremacy wasted!!.
We could have beaten and truly deterred the indians anyways let's what happens in Round 3.
I hope PAF and PA are ready, indians will be like savages with their missiles.
In addition, more sophisticated drones... they will try to kill HQ7, HQ16 if it is coming...

Our sector (Khuiratta, Kotli, AJK) was among hottest during this was. Main Kotli city was targeted by India with missiles (on a local house plus some mosques). After that artillery from our side made hell out of indian posts on other side.
Indian also fired mortars for 3 days and in all it is estimated that our area was hit by at least 500-600 shells. What is more interesting though (I have heard from a well informed source) that Pak army retaliate with some 3000 shells during this time.
Now I honestly don't know how much truth is in it and of course also not all shells were fired by SH-15 but I do know we fired a lot many shells to the other side than the shells we received on our side.
And I am talking just about Khuiratta LOC (3000 shells).
All in all Pakistan shelled some 11,000 mortars in this war.

What could be those long range conventional missiles that @Panzerkiel is talking about other than. Babur CM, specifically In PAs inventory?.
The way he said it, PAF has some really long sticks too.

I think it's pretty obvious given the stiff resistance put up by PAF and some success the Indians had by launching high-speed cruise missile salvos at our bases that this may form an unofficial policy to initiate with a massive decapitation strike in the future to degrade PAF capabilities as much as possible or even largely neutralise it.

What will Pakistan do to increases defences of bases, be it airbases, or other important locations ? India seemed to be able to penetrate at will and with impunity to be able to hit airbases with ease. I cant imagine other important military locations fairing any better, eg GHQ. What is/will be the solution to that ?

Appreciate the SH15 has proved to effective, and it validates the initial evaluation and selection process for this platform. What is the process for solving the base defence problem ?

Money is always a problem for Pakistan in terms of procurement, so hopefully a lessons learned programme from this conflict looks at 'all' of the issues seen and assigns resources appropriately to the biggest problems that came out of the conflict for the services. Appreciate the need to reinforce where they were successes, but hopefully after solutions are put in place to address the issues first.

He didn't said other than Babur CM.
Anyway,he may be talking about F2 G-MLRS
Acc to EDR Defence, a batch of F2 GMLRS was ready to be delivered to PA.
F2 GMLRS is lot more capable system than F1 and comes with very efficient aerodynamic design + bigger & powerful dual thrust rocket motor..similar to CM400.
I think PAF should ask for Air launched version of F2 instead of going for more CM400s.
Similar to Navy's approach
Their SMASH is exactly F2.

Brother your guess is as good as mine.
@Panzerkiel always does that. Sir if its possible give us a few details about those long range vectors, BMs, CMs or HGVs, DGISPR did said we are in the possession of some niche technologies, a little explanation on this wouldn't give out any confidentiality.
