During those first crucial hours of May 7th, it appeared that the PAF had successfully built upon its strong showing in 2019. However, over the next 72 hours, India regrouped and brought a fight that the PAF – and the Pakistani military at large – was not prepared to fight.

India took the IAF off the field and, in its place, heavily leaned on a vast array of loitering munitions and, most importantly, a gamechanger strike asset in the BrahMos supersonic-cruising missile (SSCM).

Indeed, while the initial – i.e., IAF-led – action of Operation Sindoor evidently did not proceed as planned, India was, nonetheless, credibly able to show it could penetrate Pakistan’s burgeoning air defence system and engage the PAF before its fighters could even get off the ground.

If she has been captured then she should be given life sentence or do a give and
take deal with India.

Remember she came to bomb civilians in Pakistan and if she is sent back then she
will be flying a Rafale again to do the same again.

She likely didn't know the targets were civilians. Pilots are rarely told a lot of information about the targets provided, so as to prevent leaks.

Having said that, she seems to have been shot down after attempting to target a Pakistani air base, and was shot down close enough to the border that she ended up landing on Pakistan's side after ejecting.

As such, she's a prisoner of war, and should be treated as such.

Pakistan isn't a barbarian nation, it is civilized. Treat soldiers as soldiers.

If only this system had also saved Indian air force from losing their premier fighter jets.

This system is for slow moving UAVs, unguided rockets and drones. Fighter jets will soon be things of past, the drone warfare is real and has arrived.

It took only 96 hours of sporadic medium intensity combat for Pakistan to start reaching out for its National Command Authority...

Rest you can figure out yourself. Noteworthy, Indian Navy and Indian Army had minimal involvement only with some artillery pieces and attacks limited to existing posts.

National Command Authority is not for authorizing nuclear war only
