In reality they retrated to the pre april 22 border. I think no escalation until 2028 when modi wants his vote bank to get filled again
 
The Enemy Inside​
Having ideological roots in Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) movement, which was inspired by fascist Nazi ideology and founded on 27 September 1925 in Nagpur, Maharashtra, the Bharatiya Jana Sangh was founded in 1951. Decades later, it emerged as the single largest party (as Bharatiya Janata Party or BJP) in 1996 Indian general elections and was able to lead a coalition government, under the name of National Democratic Alliance (NDA), in 1998 with Atal Bihari Vajpayee as the Indian prime minister till 2004. Again, in 2014 general elections, BJP won a clear majority on its own with Narendra Modi becoming the Indian prime minister. Before holding the coveted position, Modi had already become an international pariah, disgracefully known as the Butcher of Gujrat, and was banned by many countries, including USA, from visiting these countries. After becoming India’s PM, Modi started following an ultra-nationalist/religious Hindutva ideology that is now sending ripples across the world capitals.
After coming to power in 2014, the BJP government domestically followed a fascist policy of turning the heat on India’s religious minorities, especially Muslims, leaving their life and property at the mercy of Hindu goons of BJP. Even one of the BJP ideologues, Subramanian Swamy, infamously claimed in an interview with a reputed English TV channel that Muslims were sub-human and that they were not entitled to have even the basic human rights. As it might indeed be a dirty slap on the face of humanity, it really exposed the fascist Hindutva mindset. Modi’s Gujrat governance model was slowly but steadily implemented across the whole India. There are countless incidents of the members of Muslim community getting lynched for just suspicions of having beef at their homes. It became quite a normal that Muslims being thrown out while praying in mosques by Hindu goons and then turning those mosques into Hindu temples. The world community selfishly and quite disgracefully chose to overlook all these fascist actions of Modi government.

On the foreign front, Modi openly embarked upon an expansionist and fascist foreign policy. India started using its economic clout and military power to arm-twist neighboring and regional countries. The use of terrorism became a state policy of Indian state to subdue any state that refused to bow down to Indian hegemony. Modi resorted to unilaterally canceling international treaties, threatening Pakistan to occupy Pakistani controlled Kashmir, and depriving Pakistani people of even a drop of water from the rivers flowing through the illegally Indian occupied J&K. To the horror of international community, Modi gravely violated Pakistan’s sovereignty and attacked targets in Pakistan, first in 2019 and now in 2025, after false flag terrorist attacks in India, thus, bringing the two countries with nukes to the brink of a full-scale war. A fanatic Hindutva Modi is doing all this evil while pursuing the RSS’s goal of Akhand Bharat at the cost of world peace and the survival of humanity. This is when the world community awoke to the grave challenge of Hindutva menace.
A psychopath Modi is obsessed with setting new normal against Pakistan. He bombed a target deep inside Pakistan for the first time in peace time in 2019 and claimed it to be a new normal. He unilaterally changed the status of J&K on 5 August 2019 claiming that no Indian government of the past dared doing that. Modi’s India attacked at least nine locations – all civilian targets including several mosques – last month in Pakistan across the international border and killed dozens of Pakistani citizens, including children and women, and asserted it to be yet another new normal. Emboldened by the remarkable restraint initially shown by Pakistan and a muted world response to this despising Indian aggression, Modi started attacking the PAF airbases with hypersonic missiles. That was an utter stupidity on part of Modi. Pakistan could have considered these incoming Indian missiles as a nuke attack by India and launched its own nuclear attack in an immediate response to Indian attack. That is indeed very scary.

Among all BJP ministers, Modi has proved to be the most sick-minded, rogue, and stubborn Hindutva character. He has used Indian military as if it was the armed wing of the terrorist Hindutva RSS. First, using the military for launching false flag terrorist attacks to kill scores of Indians is equivalent to demeaning it to a terrorist outfit. Then forcing military chiefs to launch attacks on Pakistan despite reservations shown by them and disgracefully removing some or dismissing others who differed can be expected only from an insane and extremist fanatic prime minister. But Modi was riding high horse of an economic and military power India. Modi’s insane and monolithic policy has resulted in a humiliating defeat for Indian military. Pakistan shot down at least eight Indian planes, including four French Rafales and an Israeli Heron drone, and reportedly destroyed many more on the ground. Pakistan also attacked at least 37 Indian military targets, including major Indian air bases, S-400 ADS, missile storage sites, brigade HQs, and ammunition depots. The IAF was forced to ground for at least two days and Pak drones and planes reportedly flew over the capital, New Delhi. It was Pakistan that actually set a new normal. When the retaliatory operation Bunyan Marsoos was launched, in just less than five hours, Modi's proud head was reduced to dust. It brought India to its knees and made Modi beg Washington DC for immediate ceasefire. The strategic ground realities in SE Asia have changed.
Now Modi has mischievously resorted to lying in every street and neighborhood in Bihar to win elections in that state. He is deceiving and misleading Indian people by declaring Operation Sindoor as his victory while his armed forces are openly admitting their defeat and clearly contradicting and disgracing their own PM. The growing gap and conflicting narratives in India's political and military leadership mark another aspect of Modi’s new normal. Both are trying to get at each other’s throat. Both are throwing the ashes of Sindoor at each other. Modi is continuously singing the 'victory' tune, and the top brass of Indian armed forces is lamenting the Indian defeat. The truth, however, is written on the wall. Despite choosing the time, front, and mode of war of its own choice, Indians have lost this war. And they lost it badly. The whole world has confirmed this defeat. Interestingly, Indian generals admitted the reality in interviews given abroad and not in India. Despite his mastery of the art of lying and deception, Modi is unable to hide the facts.

As a result of Modi's new normal, India appears suffering from overwhelming global isolation during and after this four-day war. Not a single country, including Modi’s old allies and friends, publicly stood by him with open arms. The diplomatic missions sent by Modi all over the world were snubbed abroad and have returned in humiliation without winning a single supporter country for India’s stance and lies. India was fully confident of American support during this war. That did not happen. To the contrary, President Trump has proudly mentioned his role as a moderator for a dozen times and, to rub the salt to Indian wounds, emphasized on the need to resolve the Kashmir dispute. It is almost impossible to remove the impression that after the swift operation Bunyan Marsoos, Modi lost his nerve and frantically pleaded with the United States for an immediate ceasefire. To make thing even more humiliating, the Canadian government has not invited the Hindutva Modi to attend the G7 summit to be held 15-17 June in Canada. India has been defeated by Pakistan and no one in world supports a defeated and humiliated party. After the military field, this defeat in the diplomatic field has become a topic of discussion in India.
Modi’s Operation Sindoor is indeed continuing in India. However, it’s no more focused on Pakistan. It’s rather focused on Modi himself. Indian public's anger against BJP government in general and Modi in particular is increasing. He is lying and trying to produce a win from a clear defeat and his own army is blowing up his narrative. General Anil Chauhan's revelation that the Indian Air Force was suspended and paralyzed for two days is not an ordinary thing. On the other hand, all the opposition parties, including the Congress party, have targeted both the government and the armed forces. The way Godi media lied to Indian public, created delusions, and promoted false narratives during the operation Sindoor has resulted Indian media having no credibility for the world opinion. Of course, defeat is always barren and unforgiving, but the war between the Indian military and political leadership to blame each other for the shameful defeat is the "new normal" that can lead to any accident.

To meet his political Hindutva agenda, Modi disgraced and forced Indian military command to fight a war that it was not prepared for. He pushed India from the position of a regional power down to a pariah state that no one in world is willing to support. It has exposed India's hollow military might and brought it to its knees. Modi has succeeded in getting the Indian military’s backbone broken not just without gaining any benefits but rather losing much more at the strategic chessboard. Modi has turned out to be an inside enemy and exposed himself as a grave threat to the state of India. A Hindutva Modi seems to be a blessing in disguise for Pakistan and the world at large.
