Los Angeles favors illegals aliens over protections of its citizens. People who lost their homes in the fires can't get a building permit to rebuild because of all the red tape yet the city leadership will pull out all the stops to protect illegals.

The city and a number of surrounding communities are an absolute mess.

This is just another example of obstructionism.
