I don't need 4 years of data to know this is going to be like this for a pretty long time, because people are going to go underground. You can't expect Illegal immigrants will just put up a sign pointing them out, so you can come collect them and deport them, when ICE starts going to immigration court and round them up. They will just not showing up to their immigration court appointment anymore

If you think finding people who don't want to be find is easy, well, I was doing just that as a cop for over 7 years working on Missing Person desk, these aren't your 13, 14 years old who had an argument with their dads and decided to run away and usually going back home when they run out of bus money. You are talking about people that are desperate to stay and can work to sustain themselves. I solved around 30% of around 200 case over that 7 years, and it would be fun when all 10 million illegal goes underground, and you have what? 49,000 ICE agents trying to look them up??

Federal immigration raid at Omaha meat production plant sparks protests​

Chad Hartmann, president of the food packaging company, said the front office was stunned by the aggressive nature of federal officials’ raid and confused by why the company was targeted.

“My biggest issue is: why us?” Hartmann said. “We do everything by the book.”

The plant uses E-Verify, the federal database used to check the immigration status of employees. When he said as much to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers who carried out the raid, they told him the E-Verify system “is broken.”

“I mean, what am I supposed to do with that?” Hartmann said. “This is your system, run by the government. And you’re raiding me because your system is broken?”

Insisted some Mexican let me look at his driver's license when the apartment manager told me, "it's ok, he told me he's Italian."
