Literally just saw this.

I really don't like these guys. They're pros (supposedly), but its clear they don't do a lot of research when it comes to air forces of countries outside of the US, EU and Israel.

I couldn’t believe that China will deliver 40 J-35A to Pakistan by August 2025. The production of J-35A could be one per month, so it will take years for 40 to be delivered.

It is not official statement, and who ever claimed that probably meant the deliveries might start from Aug 2025 not complete in Aug 2025. Anyone with basic knowledge of how these fighter jet supplies work is in small batches of 3~ 6 planes per delivery.

The radar likely can't match the full range of the PL-17 to effectively use it. Even if you can carry it physically it requires guidance to utilise its full range.

Disagree - the output of two WS-13s is equal to single F-135.
A more adaptive engine that could go into a “super F-35” would generate even more power.

What the J-35 is what the F-35 should have been even if single engine. Without the added weight and complexity of the Marine variant.

All stems from the usual “McNamara” legacy of “common cost savings”
