They cannot breath? They defeated much more powerful Hezbollah and played a role in collapse of the Assad regime in Syria. Do you think Hamas stands a chance conventionally? It does not.
Netayanhu is using Gaza to address his political troubles.

A Calculus of Conflict: Netanyahu's Political Survival Through Extended War
After nearly two months of ceasefire, the Israeli government resumed its genocidal campaign in Gaza in March 2025. The Israeli government’s decision was not surprising. Since the start of the ground invasion of Gaza in November 2023, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu aimed for two...arabcenterdc.org

‘Clearly an excuse’: Does Netanyahu really want Hamas gone?
Israeli PM says he will keep war on Gaza going until 'Hamas is defeated', but analysts say he may not want that.www.aljazeera.com
How to prolong conflict? Turn the region of interest into a testing ground for new weapons and torment its population base. This fact was revealed by Palestinians much earlier:
Gaza is virtually destroyed and will not recover from this tragedy anytime soon. Many families in Gaza are scarred for life by now.
Hamas failed to read and understand Netanyahu. He is cold like steel, he can turn a crisis into opportunity and play his game, and he can play a long game. He pit Hamas against PLA in Gaza before and he is now pitting Shabab against Hamas in Gaza. Same playbook but Gaza reduced to ruins this time. Nothing to celebrate in this terrible politically-motivated experiment.
WTF BRO?
@LeGenD, no Hamas wouldn't have contributed to the ending of suffering anyway. There is a place where Hamas doesn't exist. It's called the West Bank. Every year over 1000s Palestinians die in the West Bank due to settler violence and they're incased in 8 meter apartheid walls.
They can't leave unless they do low paid labour inside of Israel. Palestinians literally tried everything from peaceful protests like the Gaza protests in 2018 to armed resistance. What more do you wish for them to do because when they peacefully protested in 2018, your Zionist settler state gunned them with machine guns. When the Palestinians authorities tried getting something through peaceful talks and diplomacy during the Oslo accords, Israel ended the whole deal by implementing even more settler rules in the West Bank with virtually all Palestinian politics being directly controlled by Israel.
Coming back To Gaza. it's even hard to imagine how a city like Gaza surrounded from every corner, being monitored 24/7 from sea, ground and sky with barley 30-40k man with some homemade weapons are standing against one of the most developed army in the world supported by strongest countries in the world, being bombed nonstop for 18 months and they Mujahideen are still standing and fight, damn. Hizbollah kicked IDF out of Lebanon and yes they took loses. In the expulsion of IDF from Lebanon.
