Pakistan, since General Zia's time where Pakistan got involved in the American war against the Soviets in 1980, is probably more compromised internally than even Iran! It's just that either Pakistan is not too much threat to Israel YET or that Israel has to work its way to Pakistan after toppling Iran.

No Israel wont never come after Pakistan not aftet 2025. You do not remember that it was Iran striked missile in Pakistan than it was the first time any country strike inside Iran was Pakistan. Since that moment everything changed for Iran.

China is unwilling and unable to save a nation that is not united and lacks strong will. Iran is different from Russia, North Korea, and Pakistan; Iran has never been seen as a reliable ally. In fact, the Houthis have done better than Iran.

Hence the very reason that the attacked received mixed opinions on Chinese social media but I am still surprised to see so many Chinese blamed the Iranian for showing weakness and internal turmoil that gives the Isreali chances.

I’m sorry, but what? Israel brought war upon Iran, this is nothing less. They are even saying that this will be a multi-day, if not multi-week campaign.

Is there even a room to the use word escalation here?

Are we looking at different stuff? What I’m seeing is war, so far conducted by Israel only, but nevertheless a war. This is not even remotely comparable to previous events.

And how is Iran going to retaliate? Presumably, Israel is also targeting Iranian missile sites, just like they did in Lebanon.

Iran has shown itself to be weaker than it appears, and nothing shows that their retaliation will be any different than in the past.
