I dont think Trump will be able to resist the pressure, but if he put American interests first he would. He knows that whoever is in charge at the end, will want to deal with America.

It is simple you can not win war if you are not in it, until now Iran was not in war with jews, so it is up to iranians will they go in war or not.
Times of proxies sharade are over, from rational point of view there are little chances to win this potential war with jews especially if projected for tit for tat attacks in which iranains always deliver less kinetic blows to them.
In long term Iran could emerge victorious but it will require generational and civilian sacrifice of any normal life for decades ahead, are they ready for that, i do not know really.
