you are right that israel was part of West/GCC alliance that toppled Assad, however the Syrian air force hasnt challenged the Israeli air force since the 1980s. This option of striking Iran via Syria-Iraq has been there since the 2000s.

That's why I said close Strait of Hormuz and "threaten" to hit oil facilities of middle East states (Assuming Iran still have the capability to do so. With each day of unopposed Israeli campaign, Iran's capability will decline). And hope that the threat of Oil production collapse and economic disaster will compel trump to offer a deal that's not very damaging and stop Israel. After all, trump is a real estate guy who like money and economy more than anything and he doesn't have any long term strategic vision.
Other option is obviously unilateral surrender or regime change. But both may end up causing disintegration of Iran. Iran have lots of minority dominated areas who wouldn't mind seperation provided there is an oppertunity. Israeli allies like Azarbaijan may also eye for Iranian Azeri province.

all western proxies have well oiled militaries so that the proxies can maintain their rule. Doesnt Egypt also have a large well supplied military ? But its only for parades and keeping the army rule intact. Pakistan is in same boat.
