This really puzzled me. Iran knew an air attack or dozens will be coming for decades. Why did they still use old AD from pre-ColdWar era? If the Russians sold them some modern S-400 and/or Panstr-1, why didn't they work at all?

First the lack of AD was blamed on UN sanction, but it was lifted like almost 10(?) years. Unlike Pakistan, Iran is filthy rich with oil. Why didn't it buy dozens of AD systems from Russia and, better yet, from China? China's HQ9, HQ9A/B, and HQxx can build a system. I heard rumors of Iran considering J10C's for like 7-8 years ago, then they decided to buy Russian Su35, etc. But is there one single Su35 in Iran?

Only one possible explanation: Iran's government from top to bottom is littered with Mossad agents and A-Kissing officials. Their constant babling and delaying the country's defense were their jobs given by the Israelis.

They are degrading their nuclear enrichment and ballistic capabilities.

They have crossed the rubicon and will now keep attacking until they bend the knee and stop enrichment.

It would be a massive win, and put into question the effectiveness of the F-35. It would also put into question the safety and skill of Israeli fighter pilots.

Honestly, this entire situation just annoys the shit out of me. If Iran has a proper airforce, Israel wouldn't have been able to do even a 10th of the damage it has been able to inflict.

Iran's old man leadership should be replaced, because they're all a bunch of incompetent old men, fighting a war as if they're still facing Iraq in the 1980s.
 
And to hope for balkanization of Iran and “change” but they overestimate themselves, most of them party in lgbtq clubs in tel aviv, what they have done to the holy land.
