Ehud Barak, former Israeli PM, expects it to last for a few weeks before both sides are forced to step back.

Anything short of an Iranian nuclear bomb test to join the club or explicit western recognition of Iran’s right to enrichment will mean Iran lost.

This isn’t a war about damages, this is an existential war for Iran. If iran is forced to mothball or dismantle its nuclear program, it will be the end of Iran by 2035.

You need this on a massive scale across Israel. This can only be achieved with sustained missile attacks. I really hope that Iran has the stockpiles and ability to replenish them.
