It will only make sense if one is using them to saturate air defenses and exhaust them in advance of more reliable SuperSonics and hypersonics.

This episode tells you why we need technological Superiority or at least technological parity with our enemies
Iranian 40 years ballistic doctrine collapsed in one night because of non existent Air Force .

Besides ,Pakistan builds ballistic missiles to get through her nukes.. They may be expensive & limited in numbers but capable enough.There is reason we have MIRV capable Ballistic Missiles also.No Air Defence System can counter MIRV missiles.

Iranian problem is they rely on ballistic missiles for conventional strikes so need them in thousands.So their bulk is cheap stuff and what they have capable is limited in numbers.

Iran should learn from IDF and adopt a "humane" policy to limit civilian casualty:

Publish a list of potential targets that includes all of Israel's important financial and industrial centers, all of critical civilian infrastructures. Then advise civilians to stay away from those targets for their personal safety.

Hit those targets in random orders in multiple waves over as long a period as Iran can possibly afford.

Sit back and watch massive capital flight and immigrant flooding out of Israel. This is how you destroy Israel, not chanting useless slogans

Well said, i have said many times that during all out war, hypersonic missiles atleast 3000 are going to be more effective then entire PAF. I mean indias number one target is PAF bases because they know that in air IAF sucks so they resort to surface to surface attacks and best counter is the same.

That only works in Gaza and Lebanon. Israel will defend those sites
