The IR will fall if things remain like this for 2 weeks.

Their anti-Israeli stance is their last remaining pillar. If it falls, next protests will bring them down. Even the IRGC could rise against them next time. And next protests will be very soon if they lose this war in the scale they are losing now.

Why would the Iranian government make up a far-fetched story about shooting down an F-35?
Westerners seem to enjoy lies, like Ukraine's "Ghost of Kyiv."
But conscientious people who are angry with Iran and Israel dislike falsehoods.
The Iranian government's lies only sow doubt among those people and backfire.
