I think people are giving too much credit to the US figure about the number of our ballistic missiles.
I mean first of all, it's hard to know if the US figure is based on any real intel.
Secondly, even if it is, there's no reason for the US to expose the real number publicly.
Thirdly, Gen. McKenzy (Head of CENTCOM) believed that Iran could not reproduce TP1. Not only we did reproduce TP1 in TP2, but we have repeated it at least 3 times after TP2.
So, this whole idea that Iran has 3,000-4,000 MRBMs is nonsense. My guess is well above 5,000. Probably closer to 6,000-7,000.
The situation with SRBMs is different. Not only we can produce them in higher numbers, but some of them have real pin-point accuracy. So, apples and oranges.
