Lessons for Pakistan from the Israel/Iran conflict of June 2025

1. Hypersonic missiles and loads of decoys/drones. The development of modern missile systems in general. In order to penetrate layers of anti missile systems one must have a shit load of cheap drones/decoys. The final blow can be delivered through hypersonic/subsonic missiles.
2. Subs equipped with SLCM/SLBM capability. Even mobile TEL solutions can be taken out easily. Especially if the intel is good. Stealthy subs can reach the shores of the enemy undetected. Striking enemy targets at a closer range becomes possible.
3. Further solidification of the air force through induction of 5th gen fighters. We have seen that without an air force a country is sitting ducks.
4. Intel gathering capabilities. People often forget that half success is achieved through credible intel gathering. When intel is solid, attacking valuable targets becomes easier.
5. Underground bunkers for the storage of various hardware. Extremely important to protect and preserve precious hardware.
6. Keeping an eye on internal moles. You can have the best equipment and training in the world. It becomes useless if a country's top secrets are being leaked to the enemy.

1- Missiles, launchers and nuclear arsenal storage in mountain tunnels.
2- Huge stockpile of F-1, F-2, F-3, ghaznavi, abdali, nasr....... At least in 5 digits.
3- DON'T OVER STRECH AIR FORCE. In full blown war, You know never what happens to airbases and runways and we don't have vertical takeoff jets.

My action items for Pak against Hindutva:
  • Indigenous military industrial complex
  • Ultra long range land, air and sea based EW/EA. HALE UAV platforms like Akinjis can provide ELINT/SIGINT and distributed EW/EA at a 55k feet altitude 24/7. Especially needed for Brahmos type threats
  • Sats of all sorts at all types of orbits, including microsats (known as cubes) to proliferate over the rattlesnake for near real time apications. In Pak's case, the rattlesnake is extended up to 400km inside Bharat, and it includes Delhi, Gujrat, IIOK, Khalistan etc.
  • ANKA-3, KE type etc. autonomous, smart and intelligent stealthy platforms for deep strikes on HVTs like missile sites, C&C, production facilities, depots etc.; DEAD/SEAD, long range BVR engagements etc. under full PAF ABC doctrine and impme.enation
  • Ultra long range MLRS
  • Etc.

I think we can make several parts of motorway as makeshift bases and runways… we need to increase those numbers to atleast a hundred plus

The first step win in today's war air superiority and to get that we need to destroy almost all air defense and jets, i will leave the jets part to PAF since they are very good at it.

its often simple strategies can defeat all Indian based air defense.

Lets start with ground based air defense. to deal with them you first need to identify their location, for that we need drones like harop and identify locations and bookmark their location. add to that all the airbases already identified by satellites. After identification the attack plan need to be started for that location immediately.

Now to deal with those pisky things, for a country as poor as Pakistan, we cant just volley fatah and other cruse missiles in big numbers as it is unfeasible for our economy and factories to produce expensive items in large numbers.

Now what is the solution, Hamas rockets, a simple pipe based chemical reaction design that costs around 200$ according to hamas, extend their range upto 1000km which would probably worth around say 500$. tinker it a bit enough so its accuracy is around 50m cep. just put some cheapest material and make sure they produce some fire, might get lucky killing something or at least the enemy will take it seriously and shoot it down. please not that it should be shot from big truck with like 20-30 rockets per truck. the amount needed for say india is around 15000 rockets.

Now the attack strategy is instead of slow drones that can be shot by air guns, just volley say 300 hamas rockets and mix some real rockets/missiles/drones/cruise and once you think the rockets aren't getting shot down due to their air defence missiles running out, bomb the shit out them with more real rockets/missiles/drones/cruise and still some rockets, to totally destroy their air defence unit.

After the volley sent in real drones with missiles and delete anything that remains there. infact now that you have air superiority in that area of say 100km, send in all the missile carrying drones and wipe out all the enemy on the ground and their vehicle's Azerbaijan/turkey style. Then you can advance with tanks and solders and all the equipment to take that territory (Kashmir).

My second though today is always keep at least 5 backup radar system deep underground where even moab wont harm it, so if or when a radar is taken out like first day in iran, it is replaced and the enemy never gets air superiority. same goes for underground jets/drones/missiles airbases. only take them out to open airbases and replace the originals *with decoys* when need and always keep backup in storage deep underground. when taking them out for shoot and scoot always take decoys motors.

What Pakistan should be worried about is that in the next few days, if Iran suddenly forces a nuclear test or something like that, Pakistan should immediately establish a buffer zone in Iran, which means that the whole West will enter the Iranian war, and Pakistan's border will be very insecure.
I'm talking about Baluchistan in Iran. They will fight for independence and cut themselves off from Iran. And then there was complete civil strife in Iran.

All short term measures!

1. severe and urgent need of thwarting back to back Mossad and CIA attacks if their agents are roaming around openly (like Ukrainian did to Russian bombers);
2. fix economy in short term, to the extent that even, families living at borders (GB to Gwadar) start to feel they are one family;
3. ensure effective control over all electronic spectrum (military and civilian)
4. improve hospital services for elderly;
5. remove disputes on taxation matters immediately
6. give financial breathing space to small farmers and low wage/salary earners

1- clean your internal mess enemy wil use internal support to destroy you
2- always build strategic partnership witha strong country that can support you . you alone cannot fight.
3-build your economy . without economy you are nothing
4-dnt think just do it. iran wasted time and did not nuclear
5- stay away from fatwas and mullahs . its war dnt spend time on them . you need to decimate enemy . dnt show moral values.
6- you should have all weapons so you can deter enemy .
7-dnt build doctrine on a single system it would be counter productive

I have the same concerns.

I hope they are making plans for the border and should consider enforcing a no fly zone 100KM inside Iran if Tehran falls.

How enemy can destabilize us from within, that's where I am really really worried.. incase of war, we'll be having more Ghaddars than Iran... few things to work on ASAP

1. Power Sharing within establishment & Fed & Provincial govts. all powers in one hand is extremely dangerous.
2. Decrease state enemies within the country and stop making new ones. Talk to everyone and reach to some kind of solution which is acceptable for everyone.
3. Do not create a Raza Pehlavi, put isolated political parties back to mainstream politics.
4. Ban sectarianism, put some sort of stop to hatemongers and encourage real scholars who talk unity.
5. Solid defense pacts with neighbors.
6. We need oil reserves, private, govt, military everyone must play a role.
7. Provincial based intelligence departments.
on and on and on

1. Advanced Air Defense Systems
  • Short-range: LY-80/HQ-16 (Chinese equivalent of Patriot PAC-2) – Already in service but needs expansion.
  • Medium-range: HQ-9B (Chinese S-300 equivalent) – Can counter cruise/ballistic missiles.
  • Long-range: FT-2000 anti-radiation missiles (to target enemy AWACS & jammers).
  • Indigenous Development: Accelerate Pakistan’s own "Iron Dome" project (possibly with Turkish or Chinese help).
2. Anti-Drone & Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems
Pakistan Needs:
  • Drone Jammers: Turkish Koral EW system or Chinese SWS2 counter-drone systems.
  • Laser Anti-Drone Systems: Like China’s Silent Hunter (30 kW laser, 4 km range).
  • AI-Based Detection: Deploy AI-powered radars to distinguish decoys from real threats.
3. Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD)
Pakistan Needs:
  • Chinese HQ-19 (Similar to THAAD) – For mid-course interception of ballistic missiles.
  • Indigenous BMD Program: Pakistan has tested Hit-8 & Hit-10 interceptors but needs faster deployment.
4. Hypersonic & Stealth Missiles
Pakistan Needs:
  • Hypersonic Glide Vehicle (HGV): Develop Mach 5+ missile (like China’s DF-17).
  • Ra’ad-II Air-Launched Cruise Missile (ALCM) – Stealthy, nuclear-capable.
  • Babur-3 (Submarine-Launched Cruise Missile) – Ensures second-strike capability.
5. Space-Based Surveillance & Early Warning
Pakistan Needs:
  • PAKSAT-MM1 (Military Surveillance Satellite) – With Chinese assistance.
  • Over-the-Horizon (OTH) Radars – To detect incoming threats from 3,000+ km away.
6. Cyber Warfare & AI Defense
Pakistan Needs:
  • National Cyber Command (NCC) – To protect nuclear C2 systems.
  • AI-Powered Threat Detection – For real-time missile tracking.
Pakistan must fast track indigenous R&D while acquiring Chinese/Turkish tech to counter India’s S-400, drones, and missiles. A multi-layered air defense shield is non-negotiable for survival in a future conflict.

involve the private sector in arms manufacturing, rockets, electronics, missiles, defense sub-systems. and allow them to export stuff after strict compliance. will lead to an increase in indigenization as well as improved employment and economy. will also lead to more efficiency in arms manufacturing, tech advances and good manufacturing backbone, something our design houses lack

Build massive reductional camps and put certain people and their kids in there, or else no amount of nukes, Air forces, missile will save you.

I will follow the rules and make sure not to disrespect anyone. I genuinely admire the Iranian people—Persians are intelligent, brave, and I deeply respect that.

I'd like to ask the Iranian users here a sincere question: how do you think this conflict will ultimately end? Both of our countries are suffering right now.

Personally, I believe that my current government will eventually be replaced through elections—Netanyahu’s time is coming to an end. But I also feel that this may be the beginning of the end for the regime in Iran.

I understand that there's currently very little real opposition in Iran, even though many people strongly dislike the regime. Is there any realistic chance that someone from the military could eventually take control, similar to what happened in Egypt?
