The US Embassy in Baghdad issued a security alert on Sunday warning of an increased potential for violence or attacks against Americans in Iraq.

“The U.S. Embassy in Baghdad is aware of the increased potential for foreign terrorist organization-inspired violence or attacks against U.S. businesses and locations frequented by U.S. citizens,” the security alert said.

The embassy urged US citizens to avoid locations frequented by foreigners and any large gatherings or crowds.

The State Department maintains a Level 4 Travel Advisory for Iraq, meaning Americans should not travel to Iraq for any reason.

Tel Aviv and Haifa are both hit

Calm down people! Wallahi it's getting too repetitive having to remind you everyday just so that you sceptics be jubilant at nights 😅
His poor leadership has led to everything you see now. Infiltration due to the poor economy, lack of nukes, and now our countrymen have been killed and many of our families are in danger. The man is a traitor with his retarded fatwa. If Israel gets wiped out completely in this conflict he still deserves to hang.

From CNN’s Annoa Abekah-Mensah and Thomas Bordeaux

An Iranian foreign ministry building was hit in the Sunday afternoon strikes, videos show, in what would be the second confirmed attack on a government site since the latest violence erupted between Israel and Iran.

Footage circulating on social media, and verified by CNN, shows smoke billowing from the library of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, located in northern Tehran.

A second video geolocated by CNN shows heavy smoke near the Ministry of Justice, in western Tehran.

Several residential areas were hit in the latest Israeli strikes, according to witnesses and state media.

A local journalist told CNN that he was near a square in the city when he heard several explosions. He said that the windows of offices near the explosion were all destroyed, and that ambulances had rushed to the scene.

Dimona was targeted in this barrage.

Israeli terrorist state and population is doing a total media blackout.

Israel’s military says it has struck “an Iranian aerial refueling aircraft at Mashhad Airport in eastern Iran,” deep in Iran’s northeast, in what it claims is the longest-range strike it has conducted since its operation began.

Mashhad International Airport is around 70 miles from Iran’s border with Turkmenistan; the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement Sunday it is about 1,430 miles (2,300 kilometers) from Israel.

“The IAF is operating to establish aerial superiority over Iranian airspace. This marks the longest-range strike conducted since the beginning of the operation,” the IDF said in a statement.
