wrong, they attacked Qom missile base. not Fordow.

lack of secondaries suggest they didn't penetrate the base either.

Something happened tonight.

Either in Israel’s favor or Iran’s favor. If it was in Israel’s favor I expect IDF to brag and release clips in next 24 hours.

It’s clear as daylight than Iran has been holding back to get a ceasefire. Our FM and politicians have made that crystal clear they want a cessation. I don’t think Bibi wants to stop, he has waited for this war for 35 years. He is going to see it thru to the end. His hope is with enough time Iran will throw in the towel and give up its nuclear program or overthrow Khamenai.

If he doesn’t see results he might get impatient/desperate and do a decapitation strike on Khamenai to cause a power vacuum in Iran and Mass confusion about succession. So far that has worked on Hamas and Hezbollah, so he might think it will work on Iran as well.
Trump is happy to let the war go on for longer so I don't see a ceasefire on the horizon

But I agree something big is happening... Iran is either trying to exhaust Israel and wait out the directive or Israel is doing something big and waiting for the response...

We need air force, air defenses and medium-range missiles, which one of them does the Taliban have?

We have 2 million active Basij members, and over 600,000 active personnel in the IRGC and the Army.

If the regime falls and a puppet regime like that c*nt Reza Pahlavi is installed, the chance of insurgency in Iran is close to zero, if not absolutely zero.
I was not hitting for any scenario related to insurgency or land attack on Iran.

I was referring to the number of countries shown diplomatic support to Iran.

Secondly if the support from Taliban regime is genuine then it mean possibility of disturbance and threats from Afghan boarder to Iran will also reduce.

Last thing during this tough times want not to happen is any terrorist activity on Iranian soil from the terrorist groups operating in the region.

I think he is broadly right (basic stuff: Iran has more missiles than Israel has interceptors)

but his numbers are far off. no way on this planet that Israel has 3000 ABM interceptors! we know each THAAD battery has 48+48 missiles, and Israel has 2 batteries = 192 missiles in total. They already used at least 20 of these to fight Houthi missiles before this war started.

Arrow-3 is extremely large and expensive.

They have a lot of Arrow-2 and David's Sling but these are less effective and also not close to 3000....

Ofcourse you need air force and stuff like that but it was meant as in conventional sense all tho it was fake news.

I honestly don´t think the Basij and the 600.000 IRGC will hold much only if they are resilient and hardcore which I doubt and they need to be extremely indoctrinated in order for them to just hold in eternity.

Historically Iran has not dealt well with invasion after the first wave
