israel fired at least 400 interceptors at a cost of roughly 3mil$ per missile… over a billion in just a few nights… plus the cost of the ordinance they dropped.. who is funding this?

What is the realistic end goal here? Launch a nuke? If Iran does that, that will be the end of Iran. Israel will be built back by the west so long as AIPAC controls the government.

Iran has no need to use nukes. They can take out the 8 Nuclear sites in Israel, that are sitting targets - and the place will be irradiated forever to the extend that not even a lizard can live therefor the next 40,000 years, at least. Israel is using the nuclear weapon theory just to attack Iran, even though Iran had no real need for it. But now maybe Iran will build it as added insurance against the US.

That is precisely why Israel has not used any Nukes against Iran until now. Otherwise Israel has no inhibitions, its not like they are avoiding using the nukes out of the good of their heart. Israel made those plants and now there is no turning back. Even if disassembled, they will be a hazard forever.

1. As for the endgame, for Israel the endgame it is to somehow take out the Fordow plant in Iran. And maybe take out the Khamenei Govt in the process.
2. For Iran it is to make things so bad for Israelis that Israelis force Nethanyau out and make him finally goes to his corruption trial. Only then, all of these wars will end, as he and Lukid are running nonstop conflicts to avoid losing their 25 years of power.

I suspect the 2nd one will happen. Iran did not buckle down under 8 years of Iraq war (which was also Israel/US really), which was far worse and Iran did not buckle under 35 years of sanctions. They can easily handle the rat little nathanyahu's attempts (it will not be pretty for Iran, but they can).
