PLease do not post tweets like this at this time. It is causing unnecessary concern about our Iranian friends - until the White House or a trusted source comes out with something please avoid spreading panic.

remember we have members on this thread who have loved ones inside Iran, you may see this as shits and giggles but for many Iranians here this is very personal.

If the Americans get involved, then shut off the straits to choke the global economy and go after the USA ships with anti shipping missiles and hope they work.
 

US defense secretary says he has ordered "additional capabilities" to Middle East​

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Monday that he directed “the deployment of additional capabilities” to the Middle East region.

“Protecting US forces is our top priority and these deployments are intended to enhance our defensive posture in the region,” Hegseth said in a post on X.

It’s unclear what the additional capabilities include. CNN reported earlier on Monday that the USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group, which was planned to rotate into the region and replace the USS Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group, was cancelling a scheduled port call and moving to the Middle East “without delay.”

Understand your feelings and share them to a certain degree but if we can achieve our military goals without having to kill those not bearing arms against us then that's preferable. Let's not resort to the level of the devil worshippers. We can't emulate them less we loose our faith and humanity.

I dont believe anything I read on twitter. This is huge if true and we need to verify. If its true we'll see in time. No worries.

The next step is to kill the Ayatollah and say that there is no more Islamic Republic. The internal agents of the Mossad will become "civilians being targeted by the remnants of the old government" and so on... it's the same old tactics.

NOTE: Here in Brazil, there is an "expert" who in recent years has been on every TV show and podcast to explain the "situation in the Middle East", detail: he is a soldier in the Israeli army.

Iranian defenses activated over Tehran, local news agency reports​

Iran’s air defenses have been activated over the capital Tehran, according to the state-affiliated Fars News Agency.

It said that a number of explosions were heard moments ago in the eastern part of the city.
