And what did Trump say: Biden is not doing enough to help Israel and 'finish it off'. And how many Republicans ever said anything against Israel on Gaza?? How many? And how many Democrats voted for Resolutions which were more fair? Bernie, AOC, Senator Hoelens--many. All Democrats!

The problem is that those who choose Trump do not necessarily consider their ancestral home. They are American Muslims. Just like our overseas Chinese, there are also quite a few who choose Trump. They completely believe that they are Americans，They will only consider what benefits Trump can bring to themselves in the United States after taking office

You know, during the American fury over 9/11, some stupid Pakistanis, as weak as Pakistan was then, wanted Pakistan to defy America. Generally those are the expats, safely mouthing off from their parents' basements. I don't know how old most people here are but if they were in America then they would know the fury here, and what kind of devastation America would bring to anyone showing even a hint of defiance after 9/11.
Plus India had offered whatever help America needed to bomb Afghanistan AND Pakistan. Pakistan had no choice but to comply then. No nation wants to be bombed by the mightiest military alliance in human history. So maybe the Iranian leaders have been thinking the same thing?
Survive, live and fight another day! Just like Pakistan did. And today's Pakistan is much stronger and self-assured.

There have been a lot of misogynist comments on this forum, but reading the posts for last few hours has shown me its the mard here who are most prone to bouts of hysteria and irrationality. Why are you so freaked out by Trump's tweets ? Its just his usual way of bluster, escalation and media shock jocking. Compare how he has mishandled China with same ridiculous bluster and threats and tariffs, and then climbed down couple months later to reach mediocre deal. This included a threat to ban and expel Chinese students which he quickly backed out of as well once talks began with China.

Iran has hit Israel hard and the Israelis have run to Trump to save them. He wants a deal with Iran quickly to stave off any intervention on Israel's behalf. His tweet of evacuating Tehran is likely a response to IRGC claim of mass attacks tonight. We know that behind the scenes negotiations have always been going on directly or indirectly.

I had talked about Iran keeping its nerve and continuing to deliver blows. Well now is the time to keep your nerve!
