A few errors in the AFM article, the author referred to the "Badr" rocket system, does he mean Fatah? He also claims that the PAF used air launched cruise missiles, but I don't think the PAF has mentioned this. He claims an Erieye 2000 was hit, but hasn't backed this up with any source.

Do those numbers look correct? He claims we have 50 JF17 Block III? I thought we only have around 30 or so? And he mentions some Block I aircraft are being upgraded to Block III standard? I thought this was unlikely?

50 is the budget. Why is block 1 to 111 unlikely

Yeah, that may be the case, but he's saying as of May, we had 50 Block III? Upgrade of Block I to III standard always seems to be dismissed because of the age of the airframes and not cost effective given the extensive work needed, but I'd be happy if we did upgrade them.

Eventually they will be upgraded or have to retire them which at this point may not be on the agenda.
