It's already been reported that Trump has decided to start bombing Iran but hasn't signed the order yet. In other words, the attack will start when the US military is ready, and Trump will sign the order at the same time as the bombing starts.
Since I’ve watched the US attack and destroy many Muslim countries I have a good idea of their modus operandi. Those who think that the US will bomb a few nuclear sites, like Fordow and Natanz, and then call it a day are being naïve. As if they’ll risk Iran retaliating on their bases or oil facilities in the region. What I see coming is a nation destroying all-out attack coming from the Meditation in the west, the Arabian Sea in the east and Arabia in the south. They will launch missiles, jets, and bombers to take out all remaining missile batteries so that Iran won’t be able to launch anything. Then they’ll hit all the nuclear and military infrastructure to cripple the military. But they won’t stop there. They’ll bomb all the civilian and economic infrastructure, like the oil fields, power plants, etc.
The objective will be to cause total collapse of society and break the will of the population. Their expectation will be that opposition forces and separatists will move in and grab what they can. The aim will be to leave a broken, dysfunctional state like Iraq or Syria that won't be a threat to Israel for the next 100 years.
At this point Iran only has the choice between a humiliating surrender or total destruction. The third choice is to take revenge for the crime before it happens by taking out everything in the region before the attack starts.
There is always the possibility that the above may be prevented by divine intervention. I hope so.
