If Iran had nukes, then these are likely gone. But did Iran have intentions to use them ever even if it had nukes? No.. because nuking Israel may kill large populations around Israel too. Israel is not isolated like Japan. So Iran has lost nothing.

If Iran didn't have nukes or enriched Uranium, these strikes mean nothing.. just a waste of American taxpayer's money.

Will Israel now stop bombing Iran and claim victory? Possibly yes, because it wanted a way out of this war, and the US has provided it one.

Should Iran stop bombing Israel? I would suggest NO.. Lets not stop when Israel wants you to stop.. Don't let them replenish their air defenses, and continue to poke them.

This is exactly my initial impression when I read Trumps tweet, there must've been some backdoor deal between him and IRI to do some performative quick strike so Trump can claim mission accomplished and bring this situation to a close. No way he actually managed to destroy Iranian nuclear program completely, especially not this quickly and quietly in such short order without anyone even noticing despite everyone's attention being focused on the region. Nothing else would makes sense to me right now, it had to been performative.

I have the same impression.

The IRI will still pursue their nuclear program, but in the mean time, they don't want to confront the US directly.
