Yeah, it seems China and Iran had some relationship difficulties recently and I don't know who's to blame.

China will be wary of selling advanced tech to Iran given the spy infestation in Iran and Iran's close ties to India. On the other hand, the Arab countries are probably just as infested with Israeli/Western spies and are also friendly with India, but China is selling/offering advanced weapons to them so not sure what to make of it.

Its pure economics..For china GCC is a bigger market. They don't want to upset them for by supplying offensive weapons to Iran..
India and iran don't have any defence collaboration so don't drag us into this.
