Elders don't think younger people are stupid---it is the young people competing against older people that makes them think that they are stupid---.

That all depends on his diet and general health. Most boomer and gen x Pakistanis have had poorer diet and health choices leading to the age limitations at 60 along with cultural impediments from Pakistani concepts that 40’s are “old age”.
Most of this GenX and boomer types are ready for their coffins because they assume that is the trend from their society. All thanks to copious doses of unhealthy diet and sedentary lifestyles.

However, as is witnessed by metrics - Millennials and Gen Z Pakistanis are taking productivity in a very different direction and beyond usual gender specific cultural roles as well.

At the end of the day - it is clear the ruin of Pakistan is attributed to poor decisions by Boomers and subsequently boosted through by society built by them.

Apology i didnt convey it properly. I didnt mean that older people should be retired or their services shouldn't be taken. Ofcourse there is no parallel or comparison for their experience. But sole decision should not be left to them their should an acceptance for the younger one ideas. I have seen and learned that at some point and age men stop accepting change and are rigid to newer or different opinions that is the issue. I believe the younger people opinion should also be taken and decision should be taken by mashwaraa...from where i belong that is previously known as trible people i have seen many illogical things rules being followed and when i questioned them instead of logically tackling they came to abuses. Once there was a case in our distinct family where a girl married to his paternal first cousin gets divorced then another cousin tried to marry that girl but my father and my whole family saw that as some kind of blasphemy. I argued them what is wrong in it and instead of rationally thinking and answering they told me some guy our ancestor 400-500 years rule that the girl now be married only outside the family especially distinct cousins. I argued is islam forbid this? Or is there any social proven issue in it they have no answer except its not the way it is done in our customs. Khair that cousin married that girl and the ex husband went and killed the father of that girl that is his uncle taya. And my family even defended that action. What i want to say is my father in many many other issues without any science and logical follows thing which has no sense in it. And when the younger lot questions they pushed him. By the way my father is literate and a retired airforce officer fought 65 and 71 war. And there are many many issues religiously, politically they have picked and when i counter them rationally with references and scientifically they shut me up. One more example you will see many old people who was associated with some political party and now their parties like ANP, PPP, PMLN and even PTI which has now becomes a family business they wont accept any logical true criticism of it as they have made their minds and old people dont easily change their minds. Thats why i think younger people opinion should be mixed in the decisions at higher level. Lastly, i dont mean any disrespect to you. I believe in respected sharing of opinions and discussion.

The relevant work is already underway. I previously released an official news statement. Northwestern Polytechnical University in China has trained many graduate students for Pakistan. This university is China's top university in the field of aircraft design and research.

This is a cooperation program between official institutions.
Let me rephrase that.
These students were selected by Pakistan to study at Chinese universities, rather than being recruited through Chinese university entrance examinations. After graduation, these students return to Pakistan to work for Pakistani government research institutions.

This model can only train a small number of researchers. If Pakistan aims to train a large number of researchers, it still needs to follow the conventional pathway to enter Chinese universities. That is, Pakistani students must pass the Chinese university entrance exam to enroll.

However, this step is extremely challenging. Especially for universities in the military research field, their admission standards are extremely rigorous.

Pakistani students in China are usually influenced by the CSC (Chinese Government Scholarship) established by the CPEC program when choosing their majors. Most of them choose programs in Power, Energy, Communication, Transportation, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. Most of them will serve CPEC directly after graduation.

On the other hand, Indian students in China are usually allowed to study MBBS, MBA, international trade, economics, Chinese culture and other majors.

The majors for students from the two countries are very different, and the schools are usually different as well.

PAF has its work cut out in terms of aircraft obsolescence that will include replacement of PG's and various Mirage variants in the next 3 years. That would mean replacement of almost 100 plus aircraft! Adding at least 60 J-10CE on top of the already ordered lot or later sub variants and inducting 40 plus J-35 makes sense. Otherwise PAF will be reducing the number of squadrons, very soon.

Furthermore, F-16's were restricted to BARCAPS and that itself is a handicap for the force. I have not heard if PG's were used even for point defense during the brief conflict.

Given the above, logically, I for one, see J-10CE's numbers going up and even some modifications, as a result of BuM (No pun intended) will be entertained and incorporated due to higher number of procured aircraft including facilities for overhaul etc.

As we stand today no further orders are envisaged for JF-17 Block III

Otherwise by 2027 the fleet will have:
40+ J-35 based upon strong indications from inside sources
36 J-10CE (original order)
150 JF-17 various blocks (No further block III aircrafts have been ordered)
76 F-16 various blocks (Very soon some of the older variants need to be retired)

Therefore, a follow-on order of J-10CE is going to happen to replace the PG's. Furthermore, given the gap in actual authorized strength IAF and actual numbers on ground and strong efforts to bridge this gap by GoI, maintaining 370+ front line aircraft is a must for PAF.

My humble observation

The pace of technology has moved so quickly that obsolescence is a harsh factor. JF17 was meant to serve a longer period but with the two skirmishes of 2019 and 2025 has forcibly made moving to next generation a matter of being relevant and contemporary in defence. JF17 has become stagnant and sadly redundant. The planners planned for a different scenario but things change so rapidly that what is current is outdated.

F16 to me, in my biased view is a trojan horse. J10 can replace F16 and Mirages. JF17 replace F7PG.

As J35 arrive start negotiating for Gen 6.

Kill is too extreme.. instead listen to them, respect them but do not accept or do everything they told you. The things i dont like right i do not do that. Anyways i think due to this modern education and globalization things will get better.
