If the war intensifies it won't be long before they start targeting all Muslims in their countries. At the time of 9/11 I remember hearing discussions in the US about putting Muslims into internment camps like what happened to Japanese Americans during WW2. They won't discriminate between Shia/Sunni or Arab/Persian/Pakistani etc.
